2014 Dodge Journey Rear Differential/ Differential Carrier

Todays project is a 2014 Dodge journey rear differential carrier replacement
This should apply the same or mostly the same to this generation journey.
Apologies for the lack of detail in taking parts off in this video. This is mostly meant to show you what is where not exactly how to do the job. Haven’t seen much content about it so I decided to make the video! Enjoy!!

What was the diff doing to suspect replacement

In the video, he stated customer had fluid changed before & the fluid is full of metal, so since the fluid still has metal, which makes me think he took the next step by replacing the carrier.
