🇬🇧 In this Walking Tour video, we walk around the Zandvoort paddock during the Historic Grand Prix.The Historic Grand Prix takes you back to the past. From the first official race in 1948 to today, Circuit Zandvoort has gone through many eras and witnessed the emergence of many great Formula 1 champions such as James Hunt, Jim Clark, Niki Lauda and Max Verstappen.
Take a closer look at a selection of special historic cars and even watch some in action on the track! For example, James Hunt’s Hesketh-Cosworth 308B-2 can be seen on the track, which he used during the 1975 Zandvoort Grand Prix to take Hesketh’s only victory.
For many motorsport enthusiasts, the Historic Grand Prix is the most important historic racing event in the Netherlands and is From classic F2 and F3 cars from the 60s-70s to GT cars from the zero’s, this edition too promises to be a spectacle with more entertainment than ever before. As in 2022, Masters Historic Racing will also be bringing its Aston Martin Masters Endurance Legends to the Netherlands: prototypes and GTs that competed in Le Mans and related championships such as the ELMS and ALMS from 1990 to 2015. These extremely fast machines from recent history thus make the link with the modern present.
🇳🇱 In deze Walking Tour video lopen we over de Zandvoort paddock tijdens de Historic Grand Prix. De Historic Grand Prix brengt je terug naar het verleden. Vanaf de eerste officiële race in 1948 tot vandaag de dag heeft Circuit Zandvoort vele tijdperken doorlopen en het ontstaan van vele grote Formula 1 kampioenen als James Hunt, Jim Clark, Niki Lauda en Max Verstappen meegemaakt.
Bekijk een selectie van bijzondere historische bolides van dichtbij en aanschouw sommigen zelfs in actie op de baan! Zo is onder andere de Hesketh-Cosworth 308B-2 van James Hunt bewonderen, waarmee hij als underdog tijdens de Grote Prijs van Zandvoort in 1975 de enige overwinning voor Hesketh binnensleepte.
Voor de vele autosportliefhebbers is de Historic Grand Prix het belangrijkste historische race-evenement van Nederland. Van klassieke F2- en F3-auto’s uit de jaren 60-70 tot GT-wagens uit de zero’s: ook deze editie belooft een spektakel te worden met meer race actie dan ooit tevoren. Net als in 2020 & 2022, neemt Masters Historic Racing nu ook zijn Masters Endurance Legends mee naar Nederland: prototypes en GT’s die van 1990 tot 2015 deelnamen aan Le Mans en aanverwante kampioenschappen zoals de ELMS en de ALMS. Deze uiterst snelle machines van recente historie leggen daarmee de link met het moderne heden.
