Satch literally changed my life, and I love him for that. Seen him too many times to count; never disappoints. Seeing him with Vai in a couple of weeks and taking my son. It’ll be his first time seeing Joe and Steve.
That old film footage of those guys dancing works brilliantly in sync with the music !

First Heard Joe in 1996 heard him on Television, Playing Summer, on a Sony Commercial, followed him Since then. He is a Master Musician and can play many different Instruments, also a Music Teacher. Taught Steve Vai, Eric Johnson, and others. Cheers

I always used the distaste of females as measurement scale for the greatness of music. The more they disliked the music, the better the music usually was. This process rarely ever failed me and works to this day.

@@hazardeur it's not only females, even the boys nowadays haven't got an ounce of taste for good music. I played Hendrix's little wing for a friend to get his reaction and all he could say was slow and boring. This same guy said that dubstep has the greatest thing ever in music.
Always loved this guy's talent but never really enjoyed his type of music. Ah well, still a legend.

years back there used to be the dogtrack race report here on a tv station in Milwaukee wi,and this song would be opener song for the program.i would only watch for this song and that would be it.
This must be a different version of the video........the one I saw didn't have the dancers,....just Joe and his guitar.
But in any case,.....one of the best if not greatest guitarists out there.

Few can understand the guitar like Joe does. It's hard to explain I mean some have the gift such as Chuck Schuldiner, Jimi Hendrix, SRV, BB King, Eric Clapton, Rory Galagher, Tom Morello, Steve Vai, etc. It takes tons of practice and it also requires talent also. It's just like how even untrained artists are naturally gifted at drawing. Chuck has showed me the beauty of tapping but Joe really has shown me the diverse types of tapping. I can't think of any other guitarist that taps on the lower frets and it's interesting because it creates a more balanced sound rather than just heart pounding tapping.
