So glad I found this video. I'm checking on different websites trying to find a gaming chair and it's hard to tell which one's better than the other and which one I should choose, considering things like my budget, the reviews people post and the fact that it will be my first gaming chair ever. I'm sure this will help me. I might make an assembling video giving suggestions, if anything I'll make sure to give you credits. Thanks. 😊👍

      its a one time investment.
And not only is it comfortable, your back will thank you in the future. Spending that money now can save you a lot of back problems and thousands of dollars in the future.

First of all, I was very happy with how fast this item was delivered. czcams.com/users/postUgkxYR69rUVDfF56JHQRldV2uJeXaPA9LTZW It came a day before the listed delivery date, which was super great! I was able to assemble it myself with no difficult and I am not an engineer or a put-it-together expert. The chair is super comfortable, I play video games for roughly 3-4 hours at a time and it does not make my back hurt or neck hurt. The Reclining function actually surprised me because it goes very low, you could fall asleep on it ( and in fact i have while laying on it with a foot rest for my legs). The red is a bold choice and I usually stay away but I love how the red and black contrast looks on this type of material. The wheels on this chair are very very quiet, I have wood vinyl in my apartment and there is absolutely no noise. OVERALL, I WOULD RECOMMEND or BUY IT AGAIN !

A good chair will easily last many years so that isn't in any way bad per say, as long as you're comfortable. Not saying yours is as good because I have no idea what chair you're using, but that's why Herman Miller chairs for example are expensive as they are and why they give 12 years of warranty. An actual proper chair will last for many years. And office chairs is above gaming chairs any day

Seems it's well worth it if you can afford the cold cured cos it'll last much longer.

I was considering the secret lab titan and the chairs from herman miller. I'm the type of guy who buys everything i'm considering between (especially for long lasting items) and then keep the one I like based on my actual use and sell off the rest. All I can say is, the HM Aeron is far superior in every possible way to the "gaming chair". It's not even a contest. But it also was about 3 times the price. It's weird because I don't feel like I overpaid for the Aeron, but I felt like I overpaid for the Secret Lab Titan.

The lumbar support is literally too hard or too soft, and I find no support for my neck and shoulders at all. Only thing good about it, is the recline, the 4d arms, tilt lock, and recline. @@charlesmbakop6349 I am sorry to hear you are having a rough go with your titan chair. Let me see if I can help. The cold cure foam is hard for a reason and that is to 1. last longer under load & 2. give better support. The company claims it will get softer after awhile but don't expect it to be like couch sitting. A possible reason for your neck and back pain is the posture correction process your body is going through. This will pass. Also I find that when u want to sit up straight and game/work. Make sure to adjust the backrest in a slightly more forward position so your full back is resting against it. Alot of the time we are so out of touch with what a correct seating position actually is we develop bad habits. And the worse your previous chair was b4 the Titan the more time you may need to adjust to the difference. Just hang in there and good luck. Don't forget to check out the company's faq page. They got some helpful tips there.

This is more about comfort being mentioned as quality overall. I had a sub $200 chair and it fell apart. First the GAS Cylinder after not even a fee months failed and I did buy a replacement for it, next the cheap thin metal bottom showed its true colors, poor weldment. It happens that I know what a good weld is, this was not even close to it so I ended up tossing the chair. While it was worthless I took it apart, made also pictures and found that the wooden base of the seat had mold, yikes.
I am an plus average tall guy so over six two so did order the third more expensive chair you showed. I know quality when I see it and I should have listened to my inner voice. Like you pointed out the 5-star base gives away the quality, it is as you mentioned in your video...
Mind you the customer support of this vendor was excellent, of course I had documented everything with pics and videos, not very flattering for vendor, they did refunded me the money after 9 months of use so kudos there.
The High-end 'expensive-err' chairs seem to be popular and with the " Covid-19 " there are a lot of delays with shipping but that is a different topic
Thanks for the video but it would it would (in my case) also be a point to mention the quality of materials used. Cheap, thin steel, poor weld versus thicker steel and other quality Frame-style , the bases for tilting system, is the only thing I missed in your video with a close-up and or snap shots of the inner of the chairs. And you were how many years into Gaming chairs ?

  • @calvinatdrifterstudio8438

A lot of the price difference is related to size and weight tolerance

I own a GT racing chair. In fact mine is also red. It's identical to the one in this video. It's ok. Nothing to write home about. The only difference I see between mine and the one in this video is that mine has a fold out foot rest that hides away under the seat. My chair doesn't make any noise at all. My arm rests only adjust up and down. My lumbar pillow/cushion has a build in vibrator & heat. The one thing this guy doesn't mention is the biggest problem of all with these chairs. That problem is tipping over backwards. They are NOT balanced correctly!! So watch out you don't tip over on your head when reclined.

So, a big FYI...the foam density which he touches on pretty well, is not nearly as cut and dry as he explains and I wish it were.
He tells us there's Memory Foam then High Density Foam which will last longer and then there's the king...Cold Cured Foam. And that will last many years before flattening out.
To get out of the way, the king is exactly as he describes and you will know if it might have cold foam because it will be north of $400.
Ive seen a couple that were $279 and even $259 that said cold molded foam or cold foam only to see down the page the words memory foam in a picture of the seat.So actually, there is that to look out for.
But the real nightmare exists with the first two things he mentioned. As you go through the 70 different brands on Amazon and read their descriptions you will see a lot of this...Made with high density memory foam. ....huh? Its one or the other isnt it?
Well after researching (mattresses was where I learned this).
Memory foam comes in different densities! You can have low density memory foam, medium or high density foam!
The thing is, we have no freaking way of knowing what the hell its really made of AKA how long it will last us.
All we can do is hope to get lucky by the 3rd gaming chair we buy to find a solid brand.
One tip...if you're in the $179 to $249 range...start with the base material. Look for the base/legs to be made from metal like steel, aluminum or reinforced nylon at the least.
    Then, one piece steel frames.
If they have those two...its likely their claim of high density foam will be real.

Hello Sir! Appreciate your video, i found it very direct and honest. Could you please compare KILLABEE 8204 and KCREAM 8515- Red. Is Killabee worth 50$ more considering the steel base? Thank you!

Super helpful video - thanks! Could you tell me -- is the AndaSeat backrest recline lockable at any angle? Their literature seems to imply that it is only lockable at 90, 100, 120, 140, and 160. Thanks for the help!

Thank you for the review. I need to search further as I do not want a chair with that bonded leather, or whatever leather that decides to start disintegrating over time and getting everywhere. It's a mess!

I gave up on this... that cheat PU is on nearly all of them, and definitely impossible not to find on the cheap ones. I just don't understand why! So frustrating. Anyway, in the end, I've ordered a lower-end one (all I can afford) and I've bought a car seat cover to put over it! The car seat cover won't look fabulous, but I have a limited budget. And cats.

I have the GTR racing chair which cost me $150 on sale (usually $200) and honestly it feels perfect for me. But then again I’m lightweight at 5’8 116 pounds.

1:23 ... _steel which has a density that's three times that of Nylon._ Steel of course is far more dense than Nylon, about 7 times as dense. But steel is around 3 times denser than aluminum, maybe that's what you were thinking of. Just remember that engineering plastics are about 1/2 of aluminum and aluminum is about 1/3 of steel.
