Love it! I miss when Night Elf music kept to the Warcraft 3 scheme. It made them feel so unique in the original roster. Nothing hurt me more than the Darkshore Warfront music sounding more like something from Eastern Kingdoms than Kalimdor.
To be honest listening to the WC3 Nelf music was new for me. It was interesting to hear just how tribal it sounded. It definitely has been romanticized along the way.

Sharm to me Elven and Japanese are like my favorite language. I have listened to a lot of other language songs but yet I’m drawn toward Elven and Japanese the most. Also you sang like a true elven. Well done!!
Danuser, we need a Kaldorei-English Dictionary STAT
A lot of rpers have managed to partly translate some parts of Darnassian and of course there are a few official or at least confirmed translations of words and phrases, but the language lacks the overall foundation it needs to be a full language, sadly.

By Elune I always listened to this on shuffle, not seeing what this is, and I always thought this was one of the old Norse songs I like, but now that I realized this is Night elven I got permanent goosebumps.

This tune completely captured what I thought of the night elves when I first saw them on Warcraft 3. I'm glad you used the tribal drumming since it shows a bit more of the wild side of the Kaldorei. Loved this!

This song captures the very essence of what the Kaldorei once were as a people: not just living with Nature, but as a part of Nature. With the transformation of Tyrande Whisperwind into the Night Warrior and the destruction of Teldrassil, it can be argued they are no longer on the path they once walked, a path best described by this song by Sharm and company.

As a Kaldorei & Ysera superfan, & someone who's making a fanfic with a elf OC that's partially based on the night elves, I love this song. The lyrics have a slightly different feel from your other night elf songs. Do you know if that’s deliberate to reflect how language evolves over time or just incidental/sounds that way because there’s so little of the language to work with that’s officially translated or spoken? (I can’t hear songs in other languages, even fantasy languages, without trying to piece out the meaning of at least some of it.) I love the music, definitely gives a feel of ancient night elves. As soon as I heard the drums it made me think of their dark troll ancestors. (I know, I’m a language/music/WoW nerd.)
Hmm. I would say the lyrics are suited to this type of night elf music, where as the music in WoW is suited to Wows NEs. This one feels more in tune with their wc3 origin, and its own OSTs. Other night elf songs don't really have much lyrics either, Nightsong honestly is very short on lyrics.
Also worth noting that the words specifically are just a large fanon page made by the night elf community, a very impressive list of words and phrases.
I agree with Valeclaw. I felt like singing this song with more rolls and staccato sounds to accentuate the beat of the drums and that tribal vibe. Other Night Elf songs feel more "romantic" and offer the scope to be more legato with the voice which makes me think of Nightsong and the Ashenvale music.
As a general lover of elves in fantasy I love this! I can easily see this being sing to nigh elven children or at Nelf inns.

Man, im pissed that we never got the badass night elves in wow. They could of been the more brutal race/side of the alliance. In Classic, undead start as Neutral with every faction but UC as they aren't trusted by the Horde, and i think it sucks that Night elves aren't the same for the Alliance. A mysterious secluded race that are vicious, immensely powerful and ancient, only joining the alliance as the horde are just a common enemy.
I'd love to see a version like that, really hardened and battle worn.

The Elves are my favourite races to play in WoW and listening to their songs is something that I really like. Above all, blood elves are the ones that I play the most and enjoy. Do you somehow have a song in Thallassian about them too?
