You should put it in manual just to take off at a higher rpm then throw it back in drive. I’ve seen a lot of people doing that with those trucks 👍🏽💯

Best way to drive the new fords is to put it in manual and pick the gear you want and as soon as you take of put it in drive and let the truck do the work. You’ll win every time! 💥💥

Try putting the ford on sport, manual mode, dropping it to the gear you want to leave at & after hitting it, put it back in auto asap. It takes off without the delay 🤙🏽

Put it on manual mode drop the gear you need for the speed you’re in as soon as you floor it click the manual button again so it’ll go back to automatic and shift by itself 👍🏼👍🏼

For rolls I keep it in drive and delete - the gears to where I want to start at, punch it then add + them at back at the same time. Same truck just crew cab

I have a 2023 RCSB f150 5.0 the way to race and get a good rolling launch is leaving it in auto then using the +/- to down shift to your gear. I usually go 2nd or 3rd once you take off you spam the + and it’ll shift on its own. Make sure it’s on sport and traction off. Every time you change drive modes it turns the traction back on.
So you are just limiting the gears when you press the -. This restricts it from up shifting then downshifting when you take off just make sure you spam + after you take off

Beto try leaving it on drive but you can still drop the gears down to first or second gear when you take off shift up and it will shift by it self and won't redline

U need to downshift the ford on drive so the rpm is up then when u smash hit the plus button on the gears fast so u have all the gears and u wont have the lag

You can use the Manuel if you want. That’s only if you know when to shift it tho . But you can leave it on drive instead with sport mode on and
trac/off . You can shift the minus button to get it down to first gear on the drive mode . Get it to roll you going to do and once you stomp on the gas press the plus button on the shifter all threw the gears. You will see it on the screen. It will do everything on its own.
i have same truck you gotta put it in manual 2nd gear 40 roll and as soon as you floor it push the M button again goes back into drive

After starting in the right gear in manual, use your palm to push the column shifter up and forward as soon as you hit the gas. It will put it in drive and will shift automatically at that point.
Bad ass vid depends who the ford is tuned by but from what i know most at least mine tuned put it in manual drop a gear I usually do 25mph or even 30 in first gear then floor it and mine shifts on its own at high rpm from there then when i slow down throw it back in drive

Ima give yall a tip when racing the fords put it on manual select the gear then when u punch it shift it back to drive so it would shift by itself and no more delay.
There’s a way to tune the fords to where you downshift manually and it’ll up shift by itself need that on all fords

Put it on m drop to 1st shift a few gears early and it shifts the gears at correct rpm’s alone
i got a ford myself, a 6 speed but what i do is put it on drive, sport, adv trac off, and down shift while on drive and it will allow it to down shift and once i gas it i just shift all the gears up and let the truck run on its own. . . in simple words, you can leave it on drive just down shift to whatever gear you want and once you gun it click the upshift button until you see all your gears pop up and the truck will just gear up on its own (it wont actually gear up as soon as you click it, the truck will do all the work) rather than you doing it yourself on Manual mode

Y'all gotta call Lund to see what they suggest you to manually shift at. Also, if black ops is pre 2021, that might be why you have to manually shift Red Venom. I think the 2021 has different TCU tuning, and I don't remember if they said it's still being worked out.

BETO THE LAG ON THE F-150’s IS CAUSED BY THE DRIVE BY WIRE THROTTLE THAT FORD USES. YOU NEED TO INSTALL A SHIFTPOWER THROTTLE RESPONSE CONTROLLER. ALL OF THE DRIVE BY WIRE ELECTRONICS HAVE A BAD DELAY.

You need to manually put it in the low gear you want, do the count and once you floorvit bump the column to drive and let the truck eat and shift on its own
