I'm Mexican from El Paso, so grew up Catholic. To say I was surprised the first time I went to a big Baptist church in DC is an understatement. However, the praise and worship experience was something I did not know I was missing in my life! I ended up join the Young Adult, Men's and Mass choirs! I have my own way of shouting and praising.

My mom walked in on me and she told me to continue but I was too shy so we talked instead for awhile. At age 14, it came to fruition. I start doing solid and did one duet with my cousin that I was emulating. Look at God. One day we won't be able to get Kevin off the floor.😂😅😀😂

I'm 36 now, when I was 5 we came to America from México to live with my aunt in Houston's northside. There was a black church on the corner opposite of her house. I have always been intrigued by the loud music and shouting that I heard as a kid coming from that church. My whole life and I have never stepped foot in a black church.
