Nice Change if pace truly man. Wasn't expecting a Top 5 video. Great list btw. I'd say my Top 5 2022 games are High on life, Evil West, Elden Ring, The Callisto Protocol, and Pentiment probably but no particular order.
I totally agree with your point about Elden Ring’s replay value even tho it’s my goty. I still can’t bring myself to replay Zelda BOTW for the same reason.
Also, check out Tunic if you haven’t played it. It’s easily my #3 after ER and GOW.
I havnt played tunic yet, heard its great though. An old skool style zelda which is always great
I hope you plan on checking out, or might already have checked out Signalis, its a amazing survival horror game that would definitely fit the channel
I bought it ready to go, I'm less than an hour in and will be getting to it very very soon - can't wait 😀
Scaredy cat Davey is back
Huh? What do you mean?
I recently played signalis and there needs to be way more people playing it especially if they love resident evil/silent hill. Retrospectively signalis was my favorite game that was put out last year.
I don't know a single human other than maybe you who is looking forward to anything from naughty dog at this point
The vocal minority are mega loud on the naughty dog hate but from what I've seen from friends/podcast listeners there's some real hunger for whatever they do next.
I think it all comes down to if TLOU pt2 vibed with someone or not - I loved it 🤷♂️
18:38 Yes, God of War is definitely on my list of games I need to play. Just curious, did you like A Plague Tale Innocence better than A Plague Tale Requiem? Is that why it never made your top 5 list for year 2022? 👍
Plague tale and signalis are the 2 games I regret not playing so far. I've never played plague tale innocence and it's a game I know I'd adore!
@@SSJdavey I never even heard of Signalis. I will have to write that down on my notes. I just recently learned about Disco Elysium and Trek to Yomi. I am late to the party on this one.
Trek to yomi from what I heard is nothing to write home about but disco elysium is supposed to be incredible. Havnt played that either
There is a weapon I can't even talk to you about. Next clip shows a full fight with said weapon.
Yeah sorry my podcast hosts are super strict with things that aren't even spoilers as they are playing it rn, for everyone else the spear is all over the Internet and it's not a spoiler in itself. All fights are side quest activities 👌
Still shocked Elden Ring wasn’t number 1. Just shows how good 2022 was I guess 😅
Go check the user scores. Elden isn't nearly the game you think it is
@@johndodo2062 I mean its the most awarded game of all time has 10/10 from most websites , 96 on Metacritic and won game of the year at the game awards.. seems like your the odd one out.
I got the plat in both gow and elden and I'm sorry but elden is nowhere near as good. Taking away your map and having it not fill in s you explore is just laziness. And having the exact same combat as ds1 with one or two very minor tweaks is also quote lazy. Having George rr Martin yet still having no semblance of a coherent story doesn't help anything either
I didn't mind the map, I loved that feeling where you think it's explored and then BOOM a whole new island. But I agree the combat is classic souls albeit with new summons and stuff
