1927 Vermont Sesquicentennial Commemorative Silver Half Dollar PCGS MS65

A short video of a 1927 Vermont Sesquicentennial Commemorative Silver Half Dollar PCGS MS65. This 1927 Vermont Sesquicentennial Commemorative Silver Half Dollar has been graded MS65 by PCGS and is housed in one of the newer-style edge-view holders. This issue has a relatively low mintage of only 28,142 coins. This example is bright and extremely lustrous with tons of eye appeal. It is interesting to note that the catamount on the reverse of the Vermont Sesquicentennial half dollar has no symbolic or historical significance to the Battle of Bennington or to Vermont Independence. Other more relevant designs were rejected in favor of the catamount which was used solely for artistic purposes. A beautiful high-end gem example of the Vermont commemorative half dollar.
