This song always reminded me as if it were a personal prayer to the Almighty himself. Like a plea in prayer in song form. My favorite bar “praying for assistance or I’m gonna start resisting and then I’ll pray for forgiveness.” More or less, praying for divine intervention, or he’s gonna take things into his own hands and then ask for forgiveness for what he feels like he had to do.
