Ive had lots of success with the marine 31 heavy cut cleaner and the 3m gel coat high gloss compound. I use a number of different compounds. Those seem to work the best with less elbow grease.
@@Dooguy I used the 3 pack with success... Depending on your environment you may need to repolish and rewax once to two times a year I'm in Southern California and I use it on my fiberglass gel coat RV
Very wrong. Feom start to finish all wrong. Sorry man. I been doing this for 28 years. No product made will just buff off. You must sand. Wash boat and clay it. Gelcoat heats up much faster than clear coat on a car.
Thanks very much for this, a great educational and down to earth video.
PATHETIC DEMONSTRATION NEVER ACTUALLY SHOWED THE PROCESS JUST THE RESULTS?????
YOU NEED TO WATCH DRAKE'S VIDEO'S AWESOME!!!!
Nice Video and great tip of labeling used pads, Thanks for sharing
What speeds for my desalt polisher should I be doing all of this at? Speeds for buffing and polishing and waxing?
Great information.. did you use white wool bonnets for all three applications?
Great information and teaching...thank you!!!
showing buffing would have helped, thanks for all the info.
How long would you recommend for each section when applying the product your using
Does this Maguires oxidation remover when using a circular buffer make swirls in your gelcoat?
Zthanks so much first time have same wax and stuff thanks tho I needed it
Hey brother what would you recommend to remove residue from the sealant? And how to prep a boat before apply sealant?
Great video !!! Great content thank you 🙏🏽
Thanks dude just what I was looking for
Would this process this work on my tiny teardrop to remove a ghost decal? It's on the hatch of my galley, I could do the whole hatch its so small.
If your tear drop has a gelcoat surface it may work.
You use a compound for oxidation
Be nice to see you use the electric polisher to see your technique
Thanx man
You do not need to wipe it into the pad. Place the pad on the boat and massage it in then turn it on. Why use your hand?
That is true, good point.
I don't think this guys a pro detailer.
Soft polishing pad for removing heavy oxidation, yeah
Wow
Next time show video of u finishing it
@ 1:27, You should always take the tag the tags off of your microfiber and terry cloths! Otherwise, great video.
Didn't show HOW to use the polishing tool....
The rpm was a little low.
1800 for buffing
1400 for polishing
Now wonder it didn't come out that well.
Used his fingers too spread compound,,?? Lol
This from a man who spells "no" "now"...
@@anthonysiegel4685 it's "to spread", not "too Spread"...
I hope you're not out there doing this for a living
Would look a lot better if you would use better products.
