Jerry shtting on coins is how I found icp. He trashed all the coins I was scared of getting into while annoying the hell out of me about how great icp is I said fine, bought a little. Started looking into it more and bam. All in.

@@macroinvestor6628 One has to realize that potential strength of ICP is in technology not in the pump and dump as it is with almost all other coins. "So far" in respect of the ICP is not indicative of anything except maybe of the fact that there is still significant lack of understanding of the technological aspect of the ICP on the part of the public. I personally has taken advantage of this by buying ICP at a ridiculously low price.

The truth is that coins with pre-allocations (ICP) and many others like it are rug pulls. Whoever was in crypto for the past few years knows that. ICP might seem like a good project on the surface, but it wasn't fairly launched therefore its not a good investment. BTC, Kaspa, and a few others are the only good cryptos to consider if you don't want to be rugpulled.

No Jerry, the idea is good - only the execution is terrible... you are not really destroying Alts when you clearly do not make a 5 minute effort to learn anything about them. For example, you said Kaspa is simply copying other BC stuff. No, other BCs have incorporated the original, foundational work of the Kaspa developers which is available through published research, like ETH with Ghost, Polka, ADA. Kaspa has not copied anything, it is revolutionary. So destroying something and talking nonsense are not the same thing. That is the issue with your series. So by all means, do carry on. Only, do not pump out 3 videos a day for the sake of it, take your time and make a valuable contribution.

Kadena also uses Ghost technology, just like the old Eth PoW version, which is the early work of the Kaspa developers. The old Ghost protocol still had a few shortcomings, which have been resolved in what is Kaspa's present DAG technology. So add Kadena to the list of projects building on Kaspa technology... it is literally in their documentation, duh.

This is not a secret at all, the founder Sompolinski has explained in interview, which you can listen to in archive, or read the full reporduction in on one of the Kaspa books, that there had been a 2.5% pre-mine. So that is what I believe. This is not terrible, compared to the 5% pre-mine of the BTC team. So it fundamentally is fair, because it is nothing like VCs or a team simply printing all coins of a POS coin out of thin air, and then keeping 40% or 90%, like ICP ;) I do not mind that, ICP is my 2nd largest bag, just saying... Kaspa is fair launched, because all the coins very obviously have to be mined first, so if you had had the conviction as others did, you would have scooped up a couple million for a 1 Cent, or whatever... I wished I had, but I only learned about it 6 months ago ;) So yes, Kaspa is fair launched, despite the modest pre-mine. BTC is considered fair launched with double that.

I understand you are not trying to be silly... ;) So, fair is not fair as in communism, take it away from the rich guy, or the creator of the BC, fair means equal access opportunity to the asset. As I said earlier, any POS chain, someone simply generates e.g. 1 billion coins, says the initial price is 1 dollar per coin, so the value of the BC at launch has a 1 billion dollar market cap, but which is backed by nothing tangible, investors would have to trust in the narrative, the business plan, like with a stock, where investing is a bet on the future of the business going well. - But even today, the top 100 ICP wallets hold 40% ICP, and they will dump 2.4 million coins on us every month for another year... that is certainly not fairly distributed, but if you think the project is up to something and will do great in the future, then obviously buying ICP from the VCs who are dumping it today can be a good investment, which is why I bought it anyway.
Now, fair in terms of a coin launch then means not just giving every random asshole on the internet an equal amount for no good reason, but eqaul access to the asset, i.e. when miners mine coins, they will sell them and there is no preferential treatment - you and I and everyone can buy them. So they do not go into anyone's pocket etc... you could mine for yourself, which is what I started doing in November... so I can fairly buy on the open market, as everyone else, and I can mine, like everyone else. Fair does not mean that someone buys you a free lunch. So that is fairly launched in crypto. If someone is sitting on a bag of 10 million KAS today, that is not unfair, it means when it was still 0.03 Cents, they took the risk at the early stages of a project, when it was not clear yet whether it would even survive... same with BTC... I knew about BTC from day 1, and thought that it is a pisstake, so never bought... ouch :) Afterwards you are always smarter... so the longer KAS is in the game, the more established it will become, the more expensive it will be. Look into KAS and power law... it is the only other BC besides BTC that follows it... so, yes, there is a risk it can go to 0, like everything, but if the power law holds true over time, if you buy 10K today, you are a millionaire in 2030... only costs you "a thousand" bucks today, in one year, will be very different, because KAS will have Tier 1 listings, smart contracts, Layer 2s, stable coins... ;) the reason people invest in KAS is because those who do, at least in a big way, understand that it has solved the trilemma. KAS does not want to be ICP, ICP wants to sell Web 3 services, KAS wants to be money. You cannot pay a coffee with ETH, if the gas cost 20x more than the coffee and takes 10 minutes to clear the transaction. ICP also cannot be money - it is cheap and fast, but there is no limited supply, and someone, i.e. the VCs etc are unfairly sitting on a large bag, and will simply dump out of pocket on you every time they want to buy something... So ICP's vision is rebuilding the internet, and KAS's vision is crearting self-custodial money, where BTC failed.

The one thing about this channel that doesn't make sense, unless Jerry is a multi-millionaire, which he most likely is. If you had gone all in on ICP since the bottom of the bear market until now you're up from 4-7usd. You would have left the incredible gains since 2023 off the table. If you're end game is $ and more ICP tokens then why on Earth would anyone go all in on any one single coin. The tech may be the best, but if they get a Wells Notice, hacked or something happens during the wrong time of the Bull, then ICP can easily skip this cycles growth. That's why you diversify. No need to buy dozens of coins, but spread out a bit on your best convictions or those that have showed strength against BTC. I am so glad I didn't take your advice and wisely approached this bull run. That being said, at current prices there's no real way to lose :-)
