  • January is named after the Roman God Janus, who is often presented with two faces - one looking back to the past, and the other forward into the future.
This January, Libertarianism.org is excited to reflect on the past and to consider the future during our Liberty in Review Week.
In this video, Libertarianism.org presents its picks for the most pivotal libertarian moments of 2023. From the Supreme Court protecting the Second Amendment to Javier Milei winning the Argentinian presidential election, there was a lot to celebrate in 2023.
Special thank you to Maggie Anders for allowing us to use her footage from the election of Javier Milei: / libertyanders

Less than 1% of gun deaths are by accidents and leftists have admitted to making applying for a permit so expensive people don't even bother.

Guns should be restricted, are you blind to statistics? It's very clear. Second amendment does not talk about assault rifles lol.

Are you blind? Assault rifles in the US have been (unconstitutionally) restricted since the 1930s.
And the 2nd Amendment applies to all arms

Last I checks they are still "arms" regardless of statistics. Clearly being they arms you have the right to bear them.
If other people incite violence through speech and are criminally prosecuted, can the government take away my first amendment rights to free speech? Obviously not.

      * A survey of 1,800 male felons in 11 state prisons across the U.S. found:
34% had been “scared off, shot at, wounded, or captured by an armed victim.”
40% had decided not to commit a crime because they “knew or believed that the victim was carrying a gun.”
56% of those interviewed agreed that criminals intentionally avoid armed victims. If criminals know the individual has a weapon, they chose to target another victim.
69% personally knew other criminals who had been “scared off, shot at, wounded, or captured by an armed victim."[228]
In the US, 12.5% of burglaries are hot burgalaries, meaning someone was home. Of those, the victim US injured 26% of the time. In the UK, 50%+ of burglaries are hot.
The NCVS, which doesnt include criminals who avoided crimes, or even all self defense case found there were 100k+ self defence gun use last year.
AR15 stands for Armalite, not assault. Its a term made by anti gunners as a scare tactic. Less than 1% of gun murders are by AR15s and about 3%~ of all gun murders are with rifles.
" No uterus, no opinion! " apply 5hat to yourself. Go to a gun range.
