- Its cool to see all the computer and warehousing technology that in 1994 was state of the art and now nothing more than a doorstop. This one is new enough and there are enough younger employees and farmers shown it makes you wonder how many of them are still around and where they ended up.
Thank you, Ethan, for spending your time and money on getting these videos converted to digital and then sharing them with us on CZcams.
We all really appreciate you posting these videos. The nostalgia for the optimism of the 90s is an interesting contrast to the unfortunate state of the world today, but it is great to have an archive of this for people to look back upon.
Thanks.
Thanks for the upload Ethan. Take care. Fred
Thanks for taking the time to restore and publish these videos.
Thanks for watching
Loved Agco during this time frame. Agco Allis and Agco White were the best tractors of their time.
Thanks so much for sharing the video.
Like the old agco stuff. Too bad the agco allis and white is gone. And challenger
Agco killed off some stellar brands. They inherited White's ability to kill something good and alienate their customers.
Thanks again for sharing Ethan!
& when you get to the 8-9 minute point you'll know why today's tractors cost you a half million dollars compared to the $50,000 of 1992.. Thanks corporatocracy.
Always liked the look of those White tractors. Very clean and sleek looking.
Yep
These old marketing programs really draw you in lol. I think the White line looked the best. Thanks for sharing!
i did not know agco had the same line.thanks for all ur hard work converting these to digital.
Yep
It's amazing how much change had happened with White Farm from your 1991 promo video to this one in 1994. White tractors seemed to disappear as the 90s rolled on.
In 1991 us was still Charles city tractors.
Great video. It was very interesting 🤔
Great video and thanks for sharing Ethan! I really wish that AGCO would have kept the White Farm equipment line going, the Allis Chalmers heritage with AGCO line going, and the Hesston line going. I know it's all about making money, but I just feel they gave themselves a black eye. It probably has not helped matters much that some of the original people that started AGCO have passed away. I know some of these changes happened even when they where alive. Now we do not have a White/MF combine in the USA. Over in other countries you can get a Fendt or MF combine. I often wonder what would have happened to all these brands if AGCO never came along. Would they be better or worse off is what I wonder.
They saw it as simplifying the dealer network.
Hey Ethan,,great video. Is this one of the videos you picked up at the dealer auction?
You have restored some cool videos Ethan
That is cool buddy be safe out there your buddy from Nebraska
Thanks
Good videos very night
Nice video I enjoyed it. I think they messed up when they stopped Agco Allis and White.
Yep
I own a 6175 white front assist it lives up to it's work horse name. Hopefully going to get it repainted this fall
They are sweet tractors.
Really liking these old vids. I find it funny how they had to specify that the gleaners were water cooled. The whole air cooled thing on a combine just doesn’t make any sense to me😂.
Lots of toasty gleaners from those Deutz engines.
My neighbor had 2 of them catch fire and burn down
Interestingly, brag about all their acquisitions and how they would listen to the customer. Actually had toured independence just after they started. All the production there pretty nice facility. One thing they never mentioned much about was the German acquisition fendt a few years later. And now that's what they're stuck along with Massey. So many other good names and colors. Agco always has been in consolidation since it started. I bet it's down to a single brand in another 15 years or even totally gone. Since Kubota is chomping away and has a ton of cash to become the next full line ag machine maker in north america
Very good points. It is a shame. I often wonder what would have happened to all these brands if AGCO never came along. FENDT makes good equipment but they do not have any market share in America to amount to anything. AGCO still has not figured out that it takes years in America to get a customer loyalty base. Americans are very loyal to name and color. Doing these constant name changes and colors I do not see how it helps their situation.
Massey ferguson,Valtra,Challenger,Fendt,y (Agco Allis)en Argentina.Corporation Agco.Sisu Power engine,Deutz engine(Agco Allis Argentina),Man engine.
@@Fieldman12 I wonder the same thing.
@@Fieldman12 fendt is taking over deere is going to shit
@@rand0mghost928 I think Fendt makes a good tractor but the Fendt combine has a lot of issues to work out. I know a guy that had two that had lots of issues. Watch Mike Mitchell on CZcams. They switched back to green after a lot of issues.
Shame most ag company only care about money anymore.
Since almost every farm tractor brand merged John Deere didn’t get merged yet?
No.Al contrario,compro otras empresas,por lo menos en sudamerica,(Argentina y en Brasil).
