Probably gonna be on the album this year. He’s definitely dropping one this year. He just played an entirely new song called “Animal” on their first tour night. Darons done waiting. He wants to get his stuff out there.

Daron played years ago with the orbellion a song called the prettiest thing in the world which I believe will be in the next album since SOB have a demo from 2003 for this song

This is a bit late, but to everyone saying we'll have to wait another 8 years:
Daron confirmed in a interview that he wanted to begin recording a 3rd DMSOB (Daron Malakian & Scars on Broadway) Album in August of 2018 and had plans to release it in 2019.
Well he originally planned to release Dictator in 2012 so...
I would love to actually have the album release this year though. Love me some Daron whether it's Scars, SOAD or a guest spot.

Why is everybody keep saying about 8 years of waiting while previous album was released 10 years ago?
Unofficially sob played some tracks back in 2010. When Daron wanted to release that album, which he didn't. So, officially new album is after 10 years, but unofficially it's after 8 years.

This means IF he releases a new album, he will have these songs on it, things he recorded years ago, but around promotion time he will be playing songs that wont come out for another 10 years.
