"...Her two minions, Snails and Snips..."
IT'S SNIPS AND SNAAAAAIILLLLS.
Come on, bronies. You were thinking that right after he said that. Admit it.
+Scooter Dracon Yep. Ya got me. Except I was just like 'rly Animat its Snips and Snails learn the order r u srs'
+Scooter Dracon It doesn't matter what order you say their names. They're not a business name.
@@TrollBreaker yeah, but Snips and Snails rolls off the tongue and just sounds better than Snails and Snips

Your welcome for the pledge, and can't wait for someone to request rainbow rocks
Challenge Excepted! if i had the money.
Since I'm autistic it makes sence
Personally I think it would be cool if someone pledged enough money to have him go in and review the entire series. Each season is about 26 episodes long, so he could review each season in two parts. Review season 3 on its own would be easy since its only around 15 episodes, maybe a mini re-review of MLP:EG from the perspective of someone who would understand the jokes and references, review season 4 in two parts, then do a review of the second movie.
that's something i intend to do, save up the money and see if I can request this as part of the patrion pledge. I love Matt's personal take on all the things he reviews, and even if he doesn't become a fan of it I can't imagine him hating it either. And who knows, maybe if he was able to talk about the show from the position a "Non Die Hard Obsessive MLP Fan Boy/Girl" it might get people to open up to it, or at least stop hating on it.
It really bothers me that when people think of Bronies, they only think of the negative aspect of the fandom. Every fandom for any movie series, game series, book series, or tv series is going to have both a good and a bad side. And I think having the good side be exposed to the general audience from a neutral party would be nice. I wouldn't expect, nor want him to become, a brony, I just think it would be nice to allow him to see the show for what it is, for both the good and the bad, and allow people to see it in a new light.
The creator of the show stated that this particular generation was made for everyone to enjoy. The past incarnations of My Little Pony were defiantly for little girls with the plots being about cake or tea parties but the writing style in FiM is intelligent enough to be enjoyed by adults as well. It's kind of like how us 20-30 year olds like Avatar, Korra or Gravity Falls, shows with a Y-7 rating that are intellectual enough to grab our attention despite our age.
It might be written to appeal to all ages, it's doesn't change the fact it's still mainly driven by the toys made for girls. Look I enjoy the show but I agree with Mat.
@@KidSnivy69 wow
Equestria Girls 1 was okay, no one will deny it. But EG2: Rainbow Rocks was absolutely amazing. Beautiful animation, fantastic songs, great character development (Sunset Shimmer is one of my new favourite characters now) and an absolutely fantastic and creepy antagonist.
I like to think that throes 3 are the modern day equivalent of Azula, Mai and Ty Lee from Avatar: The Last Airbender.
Sunset turned from a wicked witch to an easygoing good gal. Remember the ancient Chinese proverb: "A bully turned friend will be friend till the end." Still like Rainbow dash, though. On my top 10 list, Sunset has to be number 3
He will hopefully. But that's upto him.
rosserm11
Same here, I am excited for the show that equestria is going to have "Equestria academy" I think Sunset is going to be the main character
She better be
He's so right about the fan base. Actually, if it wasn't for that annoying hardcore Bronies, I would probably also enjoy this show. Or at least have a neutral opinion on it.
The Brony Community is like a religion. If you say anything bad about it, your ass is grass.
There's several other communities that are just as bad. More so with video games. If you tell them that a certain game is bad, they will flip out.
SteelBeetle
Bronies, Sonic-Fans, Hardcore-Gamer, Star Wars-Fans it's all the same thing with fan bases. They ruin the joy for others.
and then there is the Brony analysis community. We put the anal in analysis. XD NITPICK ALL THE THINGS!
Zodia195 it was a joke. I'm in the analysis community I know it isn't all nitpicks.
So I could say Twilight Sparkle sucks, and bronies would hate me?
I predict that people are not even gonna watch the video because they would rather start a flame war instead
***** give them time they will arrive at one point they always do
Honestly this movie has a special place in my heart since I watched it with my old neighbour hood friends
From an outsider looking in, this was a fantastic review.
I'm not a LITTLE girl, thank you, but I love the series and comic books. However, I agree with you on who the series was made for.
I created a fanfiction for a universe where the main series takes place in a human world, and this movie is in a pony world. It's a work in progress...
Link it

It's on my google docs, so I'm not sure if the link will work. I hope you like it :)
You forget to mention the songs
Even grown men are in love with the franchise! I bursted out laughing
Great point at the end yes the show is aimed towards Girls and the fact the show got so many good things in it proves that a show for Girls can be good. To say "this show is for girls" should not mean that it´s stupid or lame. It means what it means. It´s aimed towards them, but anyone else also liking it is just a great bonus. For if it´s something we have learned from this fan-dom it is that anyone should be allowed to like anyting they want, as long as it is´t unhealthy for them or others. And great points about this movie. It´s really most made for fans who likes it, the fan-service carries a lot of the appeal. But good that the characters do appeal aswell. They are after all the strong points of the series overall. Long now for your Balto Review next.
Even Winx Club tried to be a girl’s franchise that stands out from the rest with its plot formula based on teen dramas in a fantasy setting mixed with sci -fi elements. It was even a magical girl inspired series created by Italian comic artist, Iginio Straffi. The show was quite of a mixed bag, the bad parts are some of the typical high school drama stuff like romance, sneaking out of school, and hanging out, also because of the designs of the girls in its first 4 seasons being revealing. Not to mention that their torsos were kind of abnormally long with a small girth(which resulted from the artstyle being fashion sketch based). The good parts of it are with the backstories, the somewhat unpredictable elements in the show, the unusually intimidating villains who challenge the characters, and even sacrifices the characters make. The first 3 seasons were focused mostly on Bloom, but after Bloom’s arc ended, she still keeps the spot of being the main character. The relaunch with Nickelodeon somehow, made the show look like a typical girl’s doll franchise with not much difference.
"Why didn't he talk about the songs?!?" What songs? There's like... four. And only one of them is a big musical number while the rest are just pop filler.
I loved this movie. This is the movie that got me into the Fandom in the first place.
I'm ok with his opinion. I'm just glad that he didn't give it the Animat Seal of Garbage.
Uh, dude, the reason why people treat the show as something more than a product to sell toys is because the creators did. They didn't see this as a means of selling toys. When they sat down to create this show, they set out to create a show that would appeal to all ages. This is something that was sorely missing in the previous generations. Hasbro didn't care that they didn't have good characters and didn't have good storytelling. All they cared about was selling toys. This is why the previous generations suck! Nobody gave a shit about what they were doing with the show just as long as it brought in money for Hasbro. This is why FIM is so great, because the team behind it actually gave a shit about what they were producing.
He actually liked Equestria Girls more than I thought he would. Don't get me wrong. I liked the movie but since he couldn't get into the show, I didn't expect him to enjoy it so much. He failed to talk about the songs, but I think the way he defended bronies makes up for it. There are some that go too far and give us a bad name, but most of us aren't crazy. For the most part, we just enjoy the show and not take it too far.
***** Every fanbase is going to have a bad name with some people simply because of those that take it too far. If haters got to know what the more sensible ones were like, I'm sure they'd feel different. They still might not be on board with bronies because MLP is meant for little girls but as long as they know we're not all crazy, I'm sure they wouldn't hate us so much.
I actually sent him an e-mail asking him to review it after this went up. Now it's just a matter of him pulling it out of the hat.
Twilight looks kind cute as a human.
Funnily enough, Equestria Girls was my first real official introduction to MLP and what got me into it
Crazy theory, RAINBOW DASH IS FLASH'S SISTER
Or Sonic’s cousin
Actually the creator of the 4th Gen: Lauren Faust, stated it is not even intended for little girls. It is targeted for all ages. Also, I highly doubt a 'little girls show, would have a guy send 3 princess to hell and have a giant DBZ-esque battle between a demon centaur and a alicorn princess.....yeah...that moment destroys the little girls show thing entirely. I won't bash Gen 1 or Gen 2, as it has...some...attempt at quality....but G3...that is one of the worst things I have ever seen, almost as bad as Family Guy
***** Correct but you missed she hated the 80's MLP show and I see why it was insulting to it's audience and she intended for Girls and Adults to enjoy not just girls but still nailed it
***** Besides, 90% of the top 10 (such as Pinkie Pride....aka, how to do a guest star episode correctly!) are in season 4. Also, not all fan-service is bad, and MLP has some of the best I have ever seen.
Also, only 1 or two time has MLP:FiM show ever been insulting. I think that makes it much more mature than Family Guy...seriously, I have no clue why someone would watch something like...THAT.. .THING ...over this. Family Guy tries to offend everyone and pass it off as humor, over a show that respects it's audience and has well fleshed out characters like MLP. That is why I hate being an adult. Because I am expected to watch stff labled as 'adult shows'...but the thing is most adult shows are horrible for the same reasons Family Guy sucks. I would much rather watch something that respects the audiance, and has genuinly likable characters like MLP, Legend of Korra, Sailor Moon (Original Japanese and the new Viz Media dub), and Dan Vs and have actual EFFORT put in! instead of shows like Family Guy that are completly disgusting.
***** I had started typing that comment before your second one was posted. So I did not read that one before I posted that, as it was kind of ambiguous (to me) what you were saying in the first comment
Faust may of intended for everyone, but Hasbro still aims it for little girls
I knew girls who enjoyed Dragonball Z as children, so really this 'for girls' and 'for boys' is in of itself a bit of a backwards message.
It's for all, and acknowledging that shows are for all is how we move forward. Or backward...depending on your knowledge of gendered marketing in the last century since...y'know it's a rather recent thing in some regards, at least when it comes to colours and various activities.
I'm honestly creeped out by the multicolored skin..
It's Like Doug!
well, it skipped the whole race card crap, which Is gooooooood?
I don't really care.
Dooople poop For a movie that didn't even need to be made and doesn't add shit to the series.
***** Who cares?
5:25
Glad to know I'm not the only one who thought this.
You can enjoy something aim for little girls if you're not one. I was a big fan of Sailor Moon as a teen, a lot of people were fans of Jem for example. I personally am not a fan of MLP but I see what people see in it.
as long as it isnt bad
Well the ending is the ending because... MLP. :3
YEAH! Next review is my childhood movie! :D
Speaking of the bad bronies, one of the show's most recent episodes is basically a satire of it's own fanbase... and it's both glorious and hilarious.
Check it out when you have the time.
What episode is it

"Well, maybe the only of his kind considering he's half-Husky and half-wolf"
Waaait, is he talking about BALTO????
I love Rarity's face when we get to hear AniMat's opinions on the characters. XD
rainbow rocks was definitely a lot better even tho i like eqg1
Oh boy, does this mean people will be pestering you to do the sequel? I'll admit its way better but I'm not sure if you'll like it or not.
Spyder Soup it just gets more random until the 4th one
As a fan of the show, I just found this movie to be just okay. The animation is nice though, since they essentially had to start from scratch with these new models
If I had the money though, I'd ask you to review my favorite movie- Spirited Away!
Are you also going to review the sequel of this movie just curious?
THANK YOU FOR ADDRESSING THIS FACT
Wait a minute! You didn't talk about the songs!
Now they are going to ask you to review rainbow rocks...YOU DONE GOOFED MATT
You know what i never got? Why are the characters witch in the show are portrayed in elementary in highschool!? In the show i always imagined the main ponies to be about 20, since they are not in school and the younger ones to be about 10.
I'm glad you were fair and objective with this review instead of biased and opinionated like so many fans. I agree with almost everything you said, even if a lesser reviewer would have made me disagree with the same points. I already respected you, and now my respect has grown into appreciation.
G4. When someone finally realized that just because it is an excuse to sell toys, doesn't mean it's an excuse to have lazy writing or no effort.
Well, this should tide me over while I'm waiting for the next Animation Lookback...
well I'm a Brony and I LOVED Equestria Girls
Hey I have my reasons Why I HATE SOUTH PARK Don't be a Dick or Jerk about and FYI I'm NOT a moron and I have my reasons Why I LOVE Family Guy so again Don't judge me and Don't hate on me
***** and I HATE SOUTH PARK every time somebody forces me to watch it and I HATE SOUTH PARK even more
Brony Gamer Is it beucase of that epizode cartoon wars where they insult family guy?
yes and yes and also Family Guy is much funnier then South Park and My Little Pony Friendship is Magic has better animation then South Park
REVIEW RAINBOW ROCKS.
Ok, Ok. Good.
Now review the sequels.

Me: * sends you to the pony Dimension * You’re grounded
5:21 - 5:31: *You're right!* if anything, they should've remade "Doug" and made it 10x better than the original.
i think they made the skin tones similar to avoid any race issues. i think it was a good move to make the skin less saturated than the pony hair
At this point I've learned the quality of the fandom doesn't affect the quality of the show game movie etc. So yeah there are some bronies who take it to extremes but if you just idly watch the show it's enjoyable. Of course it isn't for everyone but still has a lot more care put into it and it shows. Also I want to see Animat review Rainbow Rocks because I feel like it's better than the first equestria girls.
I think the only reason the human versions do not stand out as much as the pony selves to me.....the human versions seem a bit flanderized....not as bad as the DiC dub of Sailor Moon characters, where DiC took such lovable and fleshed out characters, with a 3 dimensional personality, and some depth, from the original Japanese version, and made them into such bland, 1-dimensional caricatures in the DiC english dub (the new Viz dub however is AMAZING!). Here they are just a bit flanderized, but in the show...they are MUCH more interesting.
While this is not a great film it is good. Th sequel "Rainbow Rocks" however, is FANTASTIC!
plus the character designs are kinda....weird. LIke, way too skinny and WHY THE HELL DOES EVERY GIRL WEAR A DAMN SKIRT!?
to be fair, the 'sudden twist' at the end of the movie is justified as My Little Pony is OVERALL a fantays story with magic and stuff and to not include that at all in the climax would be a wasted oppurtunity.
and while the sequels help mitigate it, Sunset Shimmer's sudden redemption is a huge flaw in the film.
When I look back on this movie as a fan of the show, I can say that I appreciate this movie for what it is. I think it's good, but only to an extent. It does suffer from a rushed plot, maybe too much fanservice, and the ending was a major turnoff for me mainly because the movie decided to break a rule that it established in the movie, but other than that it's good. For all of its shortcomings, this movie still manages to provide an enjoyable experience with the elements that make the show great. It's honestly a 7/10 for me. Thankfully though the other two movies improved a lot and are considered just as great as the later seasons of the show. But again, IMO.
The doug skin thing gets a bit weirder when you realize the pony ears and the "skin" are exactly the same colors in the climactic deus ex machina of the movie, implying they actually have coats of fur.
My rating
The Story: 4/10
The Animation: 7/10
The Characters: 7/10
The Songs: 6/10
Overall: 6/10
I watched this with my boyfriend over Skype and my god Animat, you weren't kidding when you said that this movie had the most random ending you've ever seen.
I saw this as a new corner too, having only turnabout storm and a handful of episodes to go on, I liked it. And I liked magical mystery cure. Not being attached to ponies but knowing there characters personalities was a help. I got a lot of jokes after the movie. So how match money and pier presure will get us rainbow rocks? Or do we have to put it in the hat?
You know, I just realized something: at one point in the review, I saw Twilight Sparkle come out of a dressing room in human form. Since Twilight Sparkle became Princess, that would mean that Celestia is an adult. So it is humanly possible to have GOOD cloppers. A good clopper would make fanart of the adult characters in human form.
yeah before and after i became a brony i thought this movie was okay and i won't deny on why the franchise was made in first place, plus you have a very valid point.
Believe it or not, the reason for why I watched Equestria Girls is actually because I was more interested in the high school story. There was a moment when I was getting curious about animation projects starring teenage girls, and Equestria Girls was the first one to come to my mind. So I watched it, and I actually was satisfied with what I saw. It actually got me curious about Friendship is Magic as well. After I got satisfied with Equestria Girls, I watched the first thirteen episodes of the television series. I cannot rightly call myself "a brony," but I have a feeling that Friendship is Magic is much better than any of the other My Little Pony Television projects. I will also say Twilight Sparkle and Spike are my two favorite characters from said television project.
When he first went on his thing about how it's meant for girls, I thought he was going to die in the next day or two,

While this was unexpected AniMat, I have to say you kinda set yourself up to review the second film simply by reviewing this one. But don't worry, the second film was better.
8:30 That's pretty much what I said about Felix the Cat: The Movie.
So apparently there's going to be a legit CGI theatrical film in 2017 from Hasbro and Universal.
Yep. And given Hasbro's history with movies, I think it will most likely be good. My logic is that the Transformers, G.I. Joe movies, and that new Jem and the Holograms are all AWFUL especially Transformers 4 and Jem), and they were made by different people than the shows. The original animated Transformers and MLP movies were made by the same people as the shows and turned out much better (although, I don't think time has done G1 MLP well at all). The new MLP movie is going to be made by the same people as the show and you see where I'm going with this.
But I don't know about CGI
+Mr Zilla It's probably going to be creepy if it's CGI.
TheAnimatorOfficial:It's going to have hand drawn animation, but i'm not totally sure.
At 3:47, AniMat talks about the random and insane ending while he reviews MLP:EG.
Wow. the suffering AniMat will endure for money.
the reason they made the characters the same colors is because people probably would have been mad with the skin tones or whatever they picked. In my opinion it's kind of good that they did that because fans can still do what they want when they make human versions of them, but then again I still think they shouldn't have made this movie in general.
It's nice to see a natural opinion that is not compromised by bias or makes excuses for it's flaws. The movie is not great but it's not that bad. Anyone can see it was made to sell dolls but the show's staff did their best and it was pretty decent. Hell they even made rainbow power cool (they still look like crap).
I just excepted Equestria Girls is not for me. I can't see my self watching the show like I do MLP. I'm just going to let EG do it's own thing.
Wait, why didn't you talk about the songs at all, like you do with the other musical films you review? I guess that you don't need a whole section for them this time, but you could have at least mention them and how they effect the movie.
Other than that, yeah, even as someone who enjoys the film, that is a fair score. The animation doesn't do anything to o great until the climax, the story has more holes then a changeling (those who watch the show will get what I mean) and the characters are more fleshed out in the show since they each get multiple episodes dedicated to each of them instead of a minute or two. Though even with all this, I still like Equestria Girls just for the fun value.
He also forgot about it in his Book of Life review.
Do a review on fantasia
Didn’t he already did
This feels like a movie that should've been as a TV-movie, or direct-to-dvd, however, they released this movie in theaters.
"A guy liking My Little Pony is no different than a girl liking Transformers."
That is actually pretty interesting because one of the directors of The Transformers: The Movie was able to convince Hasbro to create female Cybertronians because his own daughter "loved this stuff".
As a brony, I approve of this review.
1:28. The episode that plays on the TV is Lesson Zero. Season 2, episode 3.
Also, I think there is allot of genuine criticism against Gen 3, because by the gods is it tedious! At least Gen 1 had some strong fantasy elements within there. I also thank you for explaining the concept of a target audience. It's perfectly fine to go against traditional gender roles and enjoy a show intended for girls, but at the same time we need to be able to ensure safe spaces for said target audience~.
This quote sums up G3 in a nutshell.
"The children? I don't care about the children. I just care about their parents' money. Ah, the fact that their feeble minds are easily manipulated by cheap playgrounds and talentless clowns is no skin off my nose."
It was not hasbro's finest hour.
Then after that it when directly into G4, the best out of all of them.
Reminds me of a quote: "Once we hit our lowest point, we are opened to the greatest change."
It's good they backed off and gave Lauren her team freedom to rework the source material.
Edit: Spelling fail
Mr. Unpredictable and Behavior. piss.
Point taken.
Eh. In all honesty, I'd prefer the sequel.
*IT IS* targetet at little girls. IT IS. Get over it! *Disney and Pixar movies are targetet at kids the same!* It's enjoyable for all ages because it's fucking good and well written with decent animation. Why is that so hard to grasp for y'all? Most Cartoons are targeted at kids. Why does the implication that it is for kids reduce its quality for people? Children are people as well.
You know what’s my cup of tea a cup of tea
I honestly enjoyed this film and would watch it again. I also really like Rainbow Rocks (don't kill me! DX). RR had this (for lack of a better word) "theatrical" feel to it from start to finish. On top of that, the villains were pretty cool and I loved Sunset Shimmer's story arc and kind of wished Twilight had stayed on the sidelines communicating with Sunset through the book and giving her advice that way. Maybe they'll do that for the third movie. Also the Gen 1 movie was undeniably epic!
Review the two other movies. It get's good.
Also the reason why the magical confrontation was inevitable was due to the Element of Magic... That is Twilight's crown. But yeah I don't expect you to know that.
FFK7Shade Even though it's been stated throughout the film. This was my first exposure to the current generation of MLP before becoming a Brony, and I understood what was going on.
I have an idea if a movie got a 5-7/10=Animat seals of solid
Yay! Thank you autisticpony for recommending this!
10:20 It's like what Doug Walker said, "If you let the illution consume you, the more you consume it, then chances are that you're picking the unhealthy route."
For the record, I'm not a bronie. I'm a straight, sane, regular Christain. But, I do love stuff like Transformers, LEGOs, Hot Wheels, and Godzilla.
Hey Matt...*whispers: You're gonna review Balto aren't ya? :3
Nice monologue at the end.
One of the more balanced reviews I've seen on EQG, and I have to agree. It's above average, but not exactly fantastic. I sitll prefer the show, but this movie could be worse either way =3.
I'd like to suggest the Flight of Dragons go into the hat for a random request. Wish I had the money for Patreon support, but oh well :\.
The Next one is going to be Balto. I don t remember it much. Animat will help me to. I feel so curious right now!
To tell you the truth, who even cares at this point... I mean, I have a great friend who loves My Little Pony, and he has a great reasoning behind it. He is going through depression, and has even contemplated suicide, but that all change when he found MLP. He said the happy story line cheered him up, and if it does that for him, I truly don't care if other people think it isn't right, to tell you the truth, it's the rightest thing to ever happen.
I remember the dolls when the flim came out.
snail and snips it's the other way round it's snips and snails
The ending didn't come out of left field if you know the series.
That's what they do in Ponyville. Happy slice of life, then defeat a magical villain.
It's a movie for the people who already know the show.
Sunset Shimmer? Sounds like she should be the protagonist or something.
Why not a cool villain, like, I don't know, a trickster, or a manipulator, or a dark lord?
I know, I know, it's a slice of life show, I shouldn't expect some Q-like being to Fuck the pony's shit up, or a siren to turn everyone against each other or something, but still, like, off the top of my head, what if Shimmer were some kind of demon? That'd be cool.
I don't know If you watch the show, but there is Q-like character. His name is Discord.
songofthesouthfan2 what? Oh, I had no idea. Next you'll tell me there's a manipulative succubus type shape shifter, or a shadowy dark lord from some lost kingdom, or even an Indiana Jones type pony.
noobmaster117 Pretty sure you've seen the show XD
songofthesouthfan2 have I? How odd of me.
Assuming I had, it'd only be for the amazing villains, because the cutie mark crusaders certainly weren't winning me over.
Again, assuming I had.
noobmaster117 The Sarcasm is strong with this one.
MLP will get a feature film released in theaters as will be released by lionsgate as hope it's good and not a terrible film like the Michael bay transformers films!
I appreciate you speaking your mind about the truth of MLP. I accept that it's meant for little girls, but that doesn't drive me away from liking it. It's something that made me who I am today, just like how the Muppets and animated films made you who you are today. Sure, I'll admit that I'm one of the fans that liked Equestria Girls, but I'm quite open-minded and willing to listen to someone's opinions. (Unless it has something to do with someone liking Sony Pictures Animation and/or the Cloudy movies)
I'm just glad you've given this movie a fair score without caring what anyone else thinks.
He never said it being for girls should drive you away
when the mlp fim movie comes out in 2017 will you review it?
totally not jeff If a animated film is released in theaters, he'll definitely review it!
AniMat, interesting story, I'm a brony (not hardcore, I don't even take part in the flame wars), and this was the first thing I ever watch from the franchise. And let me tell you, you got my reaction to it almost SPOT ON! Seriously, it was as accurate a review as it could get, and it was because you weren't biased. Either way, the movie is fine, and the show is enjoyable compared to other animated shows nowadays, but if a person hates it, I respect their opinion, as the show is an acquired taste.
This is probably the only time I will counter argue in a while. You said the movie doesn't offer a chance for new comers and really its not supposed to. If you look at A LOT of shows straight to dvd releases, it follows the same concept. It assumes you've seen the show and are familiar with everything and dives right into the story. My example of this, Recess School's Out. It assumes you already know about the characters and are familiar enough with the show that it doesn't need to explain who everyone is and again dives into the story. It does give you some background by mentioning each character and which camps there going to, but that's really it. A movie like this doesn't need to explain the background to the show since it does assume you know enough about it to want to watch it. Heck, I can even the say the same thing about anime movies since it does the EXACT same thing.
You realize it did get a limited release?
This was my introduction to FiM back in April 2016, so that's saying something.
3:54 Is that an anthropomorphized pony Mad Hatter? o_O
No, just the two henchmen Mat mentions wearing top hats for the dance (a minor joke being that that's all they did)
6/10, eh?......Don't you mean a *Mane 6 out of 10* HA HA HA!!!!! I doubt I'm the first one to make this pun, but I still want to for the hell of it.
To quote his review, “uh... I’m sorry, what?”
Concerning the ending of the movie, Animat does realize he's talking about My Little Pony. Y'know, the show with MAGICAL TALKING PONIES AND MAGIC. To be honest, the ending doesn't feel out of place, because the crown Twily was trying to win was her crown from Equestria, which Sunset stole and then becomes a demon after putting it on, causing the magical ending of the film.
+SamuraiFighterChick Don't forget that Sunset Shimmer, who wanted revenge against Twilight Sparkle for being Princess of Equestria, was actually her friend all along. It was surprising that Sunset Shimmer, who wanted to kill Twilight after transforming into a demon wanted beauty to become Princess and absolute power to rule Equestria with an iron fist after wearing the crown which had Twilight's cutie mark, was fighting her friend after all.
Oh yeah. That too.
Um, they only became friends AFTER Sunset was defeated. They did not know each other prior to the film.
It doesn't feel out of place, but it does feel rushed.
Frankie Reese That's what I was trying to say. Thank you for correcting me.
I give this movie a -900/10
because the movie is shit.
that's all
I'm so sorry you feel that way.
YEEESSSS!! Balto! Balto! Balto!
