  • This is one of my favorite Cardinal bits from the late 90's. As usual, it ends with a REALLY funny "Which Doesn't Belong and Why?" segment that has everyone laughing hysterically.

The most consistently funny character was the Cardinal. He needs more appearences on Imus's Fox Business Network show. Thanks for posting these videos.

Very true. I've seen 2 or 3 other Cardinal clips that made the same reference yet the show wasn't pulled even then

Do you believe the successor to Cardinal O'Conner and Egan, Cardinal Dolan said Bernie's Mass at St Patrick's Cathedral. One of Cardinal Egan's best, "In the name of the Father, Son and Holy Ghost; Al Roker with a toe tag we want the most."

i couldn't help but notice the cardinal make a certain nappy-head reference hmmmm makes the rutgers thing even more peculiar now.... why was that so awful but this was just brushed off?

It was ridiculous. When he apologized to the Rutgers BB team, he had to sit with them for 3 hours or more. An apology wasn't good enough. He had to kiss their rear ends. Ridiculous.

@@razback8661 The lowest point when he faced sharpton and pretty much pleaded to him for help to salvage his show and he denied him. If you watched, you'd notice Imus took a parting shot at him on his final show.

@@WintersWar Cowering down to the likes of Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson is revolting and repulsive. They're two bottom sucking low-lifes who have betrayed their own people.
