152 kmph speed after eaxhausting for 49 overs under such pressure... What else can a man give for nation.. He was a true champion... N in my opinion this Australian team is the strongest team in cricket history... We must also accept one thing.. Hate him or love him.. Ponting was born for captaincy.. Such a great captain of a great team...

No one can argue with you mate. I'm Sri Lankan born and I have nothing but respect for Australia and Australian teams till now .... they were brutal to deal with... Even back then Sri Lanka had a pretty good team. They would pick us apart within the first10 over?

PH RR anybody who saw Australian team of the 90's and 00's was privileged. Massively talented and effortless performers. Two things stood out during that era; when the games hung in balance, one of the players would do something sensational, be it gilly with his explosive batting or Symonds with his fielding. Crucial matches, which were touted as close contests, became one-sided through sheer ability that McGrath and Warne possessed. That team had all world-class players who intimidated and dominated the opposition. The way that Australian team conquered everybody was a sight to behold. Miss those days

I can still feel Nassers pain after all these years. It was a close game, England were on the up around this time. Lee was amazing though and what a bowling spell

A game featuring Stewart, Hussain, and Warney still playing ODIs and the last man out just renewed his ECB Test central contract for another year, and seemingly no injuries or major drop in form on the horizon. Jimmy Anderson's career is absolutely mental.
