@Sllort Selling drugs and/or doing other illegal small jobs once in a blue moon is totally different than having to show up at a job 5 days a week. They can work small jobs whenever they FEEL like it (to get a PS5 , drugs or whatever) while getting $1200 from the government to have all the bills and groceries paid for. Not fair to everyone else who has to show up to work 4-5 days a week to make ends meet.

Ikr. I suffer from Chronic Gout on my toe & finger & I was still able to work for 5 years. Now my gout is getting bad to the point where I can barely walk, stand & wear shoes, just lost my job, applied of unemployment, but it's not going through so now I have no choice but apply for disability.
@@9527WahOn yeah and I wish you well with disability because they find any reason to deny you. They'll look at that prior employment and even with doctors telling them your condition changed, they'll still say "you're capable" and deny you. It's a pretty messed up system on both ends of the spectrum

I believe he's disabled. People think that disabled people are all innocent angels, or at least the "real" ones. Legitimately disabled people can game the system, be assholes, etc and still be disabled and qualify for disability assistance.

Also there is no excuse for Molly not to work. The online school thing she does is one of those programs where you log in and do schoolwork whenever you want, there’s no set “school day” time. You just have deadlines at the end of a week or month for homework essays and taking tests. Obviously there is some sort of transportation to get to a job considering her bum boyfriend had a gas station and DQ job in the area, as well as his short lived casino gig. Just neither of them want to work and do anything.
I agree, there’s no excuse for Molly to not work. I went to school and started working at 16, only stopped when covid got really bad that my parents made me stop. Her situation is actually easier, she can comfortably work with online school.
@@roopkd He clearly doesn't want her working and wants her to be dependent on him. I don't think he's a physically abusive guy (though he could be) but he's definitely emotionally abusing her. If she works and makes her own money, she may learn more independence and realize she doesn't need him anymore. That's why he keeps her under his thumb.

My guess is that the only reason she’s going to school is because it’s an online program, so she doesn’t need to leave the house, ie his control. If she wasn’t able to do school online I bet she wouldn’t be in school.

Its so annoying I work hard everyday and stress myself just to put food on the table and a roof over my head and gas in my car and these losers out here getting everything for free and have help from everyone and their mothers.
The system is broken and so many people take advantage of it. The con-artist in this episode has the IQ of a rock but still managed to game the system. I could use some extra cash to pay down my mortgage or student loans. Instead, the government uses it to subsidize his drug habits.

As someone who's had spinal surgery, countless injections into the spine, exercise physiology and physiotherapy and has worked hard, I can tell you it can get better in waves. Your story doesn't have to be true for everyone. I couldn't walk up stairs before and now I can run up them thanks to the therapy I've had. Don't judge people based on your own experiences.

So many people who are capable of working, even though they have minor disabilities, would rather live off of the Social Security that workers contribute to than find employment that they are capable of doing. The blind, the mentally challenged and people with extreme disabilities somehow find ways to get jobs. There excuses are just plain laziness.

There’s a couple reasons why he might have one. It could be a decoration piece and likes to store his money into. Another reason could be that if he likes going to the casino so much, he might have the machine to practice playing on, and just reuses that money from it. If it’s a machine he got from a place that once used money, that might be the only way to play it.

I MIGHT GET THIS WRONG... but... one can draw disability SS and for NINE months they can WORK too. Reason, gives person chance to see IF they can still work as many WANT to. Look into this. It allows one to draw SS for disability and also TRY and get back to work. HONEST people WANT to work!

If you’re a high school student you can take CTE classes: carpentry, food, CAD, all sorts of technology, child development, pre nursing, auto, public safety/fire, pre school, cosmetology, sm. animals ….. more.
Many credentials can be earned before you graduate. You have to willing to do the WORK.
