My Very First Etsy Product Reveal! | Homeschool Shirt Design

I quit my $60,000 a year teaching job to be able to stay home with my kids. We have to be very conscious of every dollar we spend and had to make some serious cuts to make this possible.
I started diving into ways I could help supplement my husband’s income now that my salary is nonexistent, so I started an Etsy shop to sell the handmade bookmarks my daughter and I make together. Fast forward to this year, I started dabbling in creating designs for Tshirts and sweatshirts.
I can’t tell you how much fun I have doing this!! I never would have imagined that I would enjoy it so much. Even though I was creating the designs and having a blast doing it, I wasn’t brave enough to actually publish them to my store yet.
During one of my TikTok Lives, a mama asked me for the link to my Etsy shop. I panicked lol!! Nothing had been posted yet despite the fact that I had all these designs ready to go. So I got over my fear of failure and started publishing.
I’m so happy that I did!! I’m constantly thinking of new design ideas and I’m becoming a little obsessed 🤣 But even more importantly, I’m showing my daughter’s that you don’t have to work a 9-5 “for the man” to make money. You can build upon your God-given talents and creativity and be you OWN boss!
