    This model has an advantage few other speakers possess. The drivers are all made from the same material. You cannot separate the drivers with your ear. Ultra high end is festooned with exotic tweeters but they are in no way similar to their bass drivers. You have to live with the incongruity. These play in harmony across their 26-40khz response. They are dissected in a display at Yamaha's amazing Innovation Road Museum in Hammamatsu, Japan. If you can then you must.

      @@corvette820 I believe him. We visited the Yamaha Innovation Road museum in Hamamatsu, Japan. They have grand pianos costing multiples of NS 5000. But there is also a display of NS 5000 cut open and disassembled. Signage says the speaker was by a team of young engineers. It also displays the zylon (carbon fiber) driver material in different manufacturing stages. The woofer coil is literally one pound of copper. The back wave dampers look like tumble generators.
      As you peruse the museum vou notice the exhaustive research (world's largest musical instrument maker) in resonance with wood in violins, guitars, pianos, etc. Hence NS 5000's mitered joint plywood construction is deliberate. Few names at any price point can match the research, resources, buying power, and pro audio ubiquity behind this speaker with its drivers all of the same material. It is not for flea watt amps. $15K is real money. Do your own research.

What am I missing or doing wrong? I see the comments and I wonder. Please advise... Thank you. Do you understand that even if you had identical equipment at home listening to CZcams is 330 kbps. This is MP3 . Even crappy CD is 1.411 kbps not mentioning SACD or high definition files. So please How do you taste and smell your ice cream from your monitors??? You want to be even more silly? Than you should demonstrate this with Orange fuses and than $200.00 Purple fuses please. Also I have to mention that you are NOT really listening to Accuphase and Yamaha speakers at all. You are listening to the microphones that captured this event. Even if it was AKG C24 or Neumann SM69 mics used with Sound Devices recorder and I seriously doubt it, you are still listening to the microphones and MP3 resolution.

    Questo genere di diffusori ha un errore di progetto di base a mio modesto parere.
    Nello specifico il midtweeter a cupola non potrà mai scendere di frequenza per riprodurre la voce in fase con il woofer, pertanto il suono sarà sempre scollato o smaterializzato nell frequenze centrali.
    Certamente con musica strumentale il problema è ridumensionato, tuttavia non esisterà mai un crossover in grado di gestire al meglio questo 3 vie, generando grosse perdite qualitative a causa del taglio di frequenza.(ipotizzo tra 500-1500 Hz)
    Poi vogliamo parlare della velocità del midtweeter abbinato al woofer con sospensione in gomma ad alta escursione ? suvvia è palese l’assurdità 🤭

    • @interesting7906
      @interesting7906 Před rokem

      Ovvia, giu'! Scendi in ulteriori dettagli! 🤣BTW Il taglio e' a 750Hz. Ma si, il diffusore sembra complicato, costoso, $15k, e non molto 'musicale'. La riproduzione e' dettagliata ma non mi non spinge a soffermarsi e acoltare. Con il prezzo siamo a livello WVL SON che sono un' altra cosa. 😉

    • @stefanotoi4025
      @stefanotoi4025 Před rokem +1

      @@interesting7906 non risulta “musicale” per colpa del crossover, delle rotazioni di fase, e della velocità di risposta del woofer nelle frequenze standard in cui l’orecchio umano è più sensibile. Più il woofer (che rammento è lento) sale di frequenza, più “sporca” e toglie naturalezza, pertanto se il taglio è 750hz, è una vera e propria martellata sui OO.
      Poi se vogliamo parlare di MyFi e registrazioni multitraccia sintetizzata digitale, dove la fase è un optional del DJ di turno, alzo le mani e ognuno può buttare i propri soldi dove gli pare 😁

    • @stefanotoi4025
      @stefanotoi4025 Před rokem

      @@interesting7906 non servono avere in mano misure, quando è palese l’inerzia meccanica di un woofer rispetto all’inerzia meccanica di un midtweeter. Estremizzando è come abbinare un tweeter di Heil con woofer: stesso concetto, le misure le dovresti calcolare con la fase corretta che ti arriva all’orecchio. Impossibile se non con celle di ritardo che uccidono il suono sia attive o passive. Per farti capire: se tu emetti un impulso sonoro registrato come premere tutti i tasti di un pianoforte contemporaneamente, quali note sentiresti arrivare per prima alle tue orecchie ad un determinato istante temporale con questi diffusori ? le note emesse dal woofer arriveranno sempre moolto dopo causando sfasamenti. E non serve disturbare Aloia o il feedback zero o altri concetti tecnici.
      È l’esperienza che ti permette di comprendere quanto da me esposto. Spero di aver chiarito il mio pensiero.

    • @interesting7906

      @@stefanotoi4025 Sono confuso. Ma di che esperienza parli? Passi da parlare di impressioni soggettive perfettamente valide a concetti 'pseudo tecnici' che non hanno senso. Tutte queste esperienze possono essere provate o disprovate con una serie di semplici misure. Non sono un esperto di misure ma i dati che ho visto sono molto chiari e riflettono le qualita' soniche. Le misure sono misure, simulazioni e calcoli sono un'altra cose.
      Tutti i woofer hanno la massa x100 la massa del tweeter. Stai dicendo che tutti i diffusori con woofer e tweeter sono 'sbagliati'? Per chiarezza, forse dovresti partire con un esempio di tuo diffusore ideale.
