Go back and play the guitar parts again. THAT'S what makes the guitar solo so great, in my opinion. Again, keep at it Sir. Good video.
Did you stop to think he is playing it slow to demonstrate and maybe some of us can follow it. Why do we have to be so critical of other players, after all we all have different skill levels. I think he did great.

Tune to the F and play open position.
