This is the absolute best double welt pocket tutorial ever with a very professional result! I’m so happy to find a tutorial where the corners are perfectly square, the welts meet together well, and everything is ironed along the way. I especially like the interfacing and stitch in the ditch. This is so inspiring. Now I finally feel ready to practice sewing double welt pockets. Thank you!

I'm a newbie sewist, sewing my first pencil skirt. But I have to make my life harder and I'm copying a designer piece that has double welted pockets. I came across your video and the instructions are very clear. My first try didn't work out because I didn't have wide enough welts to the to be properly folded once turned to the inside (which is my falt as I wanted very narrow welts) but my second try was perfect. Thank you very much

What type interfacing do you use?
You can use many different types. It depends on. the fabric you are using. Choose something comparable in weight.
