What’s happening in this Girl, Interrupted movie clip?
Lisa (Angelina Jolie) and Susanna (Winona Ryder) are staying at Daisy’s (Brittany Murphy) house. Daisy asks Lisa to give her her Valium, however, when she extends her arm Lisa notices that it’s full of cut marks. Lisa confronts Daisy about her living situation and the fact that even though the place is different, it’s all the same. Daisy tells Lisa that she’s jealous. However, Lisa tells Daisy that she does that because she has sex with her father and likes that, which upsets Susanna that asks the discussion to be over.

What’s the Girl, Interrupted movie about?
Susanna Kaysen (Winona Ryder) is an 18-year-old girl who ends up in Claymoore, a mental institution because she combined a battle of aspiring and a bottle of vodka, which looks like a suicide attempt.
She is diagnosed with a Borderline Personality Disorder. She befriends a group of troubled women who deeply influence her life: Georgina Tuskin (Clea DuVal), a pathological liar who is fixated with The Wizard of Oz; Polly Clark (Elisabeth Moss), a fire survivor; Janet Webber (Angela Bettis), an anorexic patient; Daisy Randone (Brittany Murphy), a girl who won't let anyone in her room; and Lisa Rowe (Angelina Jolie), a psychopath who controls the other patients and makes lives hard for the nurses at Claymoore.
Susanna tries to get better while being under the influence of the seductive Lisa.

The way you can see the gears turning in Lisa's head at 2:11 gives me chills everytime
this dialogue and the whole dynamic is terrifying. I remember when I first watched the film I paid a lot of attention to the fact that her father bought her a house near the airport so he wanted a secluded place so he could continue to abuse his daughter without being noticed.
I personally know a father who although he did not sexually abuse his daughters in any case had a morbid relationship with them and they were psychiatrically ill because of his intrusiveness. He used to take them to psychiatrists and act thoughtful and the psychiatrists even believed him.
This scene hit me every time because I know so well that dynamic.
Narcissistic psychopaths can be quite charismatic and cunning snakes
Daisy was so vulnerable and Lisa just took advantage of that
She told her the cold hard truth and some people can't handle the truth because it's so ugly.
First it destroys multiple layers of one's delusion and then the body follows along with the mental script.
