  • Our greatest joy is riding our bikes outside, and this ride is unbeatable, so naturally we took our time to enjoy some of the best views of Northern California in Marin County, just north across the Golden Gate Bridge from San Francisco. This beast of a ride includes: white-sand beaches, Highway 1 cliff-lined seashore, gentle lagoons, epic climbs and descents, and various microclimates of ocean, redwoods, and rainforest. Then, a grand finale on top of Mt. Tam's Ridgecrest Blvd, or the 7 sisters (AKA cycling heaven).
    RIDE TOTALS:
    38 miles // 4300 ft gain
    Strava route: / strava
    KEY RIDE SEGMENTS:
    - start from downtown Mill Valley towards Panoramic Hwy
    - descend four corners to Hwy 1
    - descend Hwy 1 towards Muir Beach
    - north on Hwy 1 towards Stinson Beach
    - north on Hwy 1 towards Bolinas
    - ascend Fairfax-Bolinas Rd (4 miles/1500 ft elevation gain) towards Ridgecrest
    - along the 7 sisters towards Rock Springs
    - head home
    - or summit Mt. Tam's East Peak if feeling ambitious

Would love to host you up here in Sonoma's West County for even MORE spectacular riding (and less traffic) than Marin.

NorCal is beautiful but, "Hawaii doesn't have the hills"? I don't think you've ever been here.

I was expecting a chillout ride session to enjoy the most scenic road in Ca, but instead I got seasick and dizzy with this crazy camera movement and fast forward. Yuck!
