    "French Industrial Hardcore"
Before "Frenchcore" and frankly a MASSIVE influence on Deathchant as a label & facilitated its adaptation of the brutal beats coming out of France Mid / Late 90's.
If the names XMF, Contrarotative, Golghott, KKI, Epiteph, KS, B.E.A.S.T, S.O.D.O.M, Dead End & Gangsta Tunes Industry mean anything to you - you know whats coming....If not.....Get ready for face melt :) :)
(WARNING: May also contain Hardcore from other countries :) :) :)
Dont at me, you train-spotter freaks :) :)
Not for the faint hearted - but oozing machine funk.
Rare gems & forgotten bombs a plenty .....Luke forgets NOTHING

Armaguet Nad, Speedyq's, Fist of Fury, these guys were the true sound of the free parties in France in the late 90's. Raw, powerfull, industrial, this is probably my favorite techno style. Too bad this style has now been replaced by what we call now "frenchcore" in rave parties, glad there are still some heroes spinning these old gems.

These labels pushed the boundaries of what is music in its essence? Creating a sound that is "hardcore" which makes it by nature creative, experimental, innovative and challenges the other genres continually , hardcore is the bastard child of house music acid house and subsequent genre . A rebellious two fingers in the face of every other genres ,it's openness and our artists willingness to incorporate any sounds from any form or genre is it's greatest strength ,other genres have slowly and gradually increased in tempo and fuller larger kick drums over the years a testament to hardcore!!

Your knowledge in music is so unreal. I'm 23 years old and fairly new to Industrial/UK Hardcore/..., I literally know 0 tracks of this, but I love your mixes so much! Glad you can give me a glimpse of what I missed back in those days, best music ever and rave on!

Keep coming back to this mix again and again. There's something here that was lost along the way I feel. Not that the hardcore of today is worse or boring. There's lots of good new stuff I love, buy and play, but I do think there's an edge here I don't hear anymore. And I'm not saying that out of nostalgia, because I didn't hear this music when I grew up. You can't even sell the kickdrum in this style, which is often the selling point nowadays I feel. It doesn't have the spectacular kicks of today. But still it sounds completely anti-social.

soooo fun!!!! it is a war crime u didn't post the tracklist 😭 back to the deep dark corners of discogs i go lol! seriously though labels like dead end and sodom will always have a very special place in my heart -- i remember hearing angel flo's release on dead end limited for the first time and i was instantly sucked into this sphere of music, it wasnt even conscious. the unparalleled chaos and brutality of it all gives way to the oddest feelings of clarity. some of my favorite records of that time i literally fall asleep to now because they feel like such home! theres nothing else like the sound these artists cultivated during that period of time in france, it is very much a piece of me and seeing mixes like these always make me happy for that reason ❤
