a great live recording performance by a band i feel really challenges their fans with every new album. in all honesty i usually dislike their new music when i first hear it but it has a way of sticking in my head. further listens slowly reveal their brilliance. my music background really enjoys the chord progressions and layering of this recording

And this belongs with a pile of Radiohead B-sides that would be the envy of any modern pop artist hit compilation. This is literally their leftovers, imagine the quality of everything that makes it to their records.
They could fill 2 records with great possibly hit songs and have a bunch of good songs left over (a few really weird ones too). No other band I know of has ever done anything like it. I remember my journey with their b-sides for the first time like it was yesterday and how amazed I was it's a shame so many people don't know about them.

Radiohead are genius, no other word for it. Each individual member of the band is outrageously talented and Thom Yorke and Johnny Greenwood are musical visionaries. Worth checking out all the ‘In the Basement’ tracks and Thom Yorke’s solo stuff

This is the band that made Creep...😂😂 look at them now, being music gods above everyone else... i love Radiohead.
"From the Basement" is not part of the title of the song, but indicates this is part from a special live performance they did, indeed from the basement, in this case a performance of all the songs from their album "The King of Limbs". They did the same thing with another album "In Rainbows". Really guys, you owe it to yourself to check it out, if not for the channel, do it in private.
And indeed, I agree, this song also reminds me very much of The Beatles.
Maybe to long for a reaction, but Radiohead headline set at Glastonbury 2017 at about two and a half hours long is a great live experience of their back catalog, super varied and probably a little self indulgent, but if your a fan, wonderful.
They definitely seek out weird chords that satisfy an itch you didn't know you had.
Almost anything frome their "From the basement" sessions are master pieces in jow to write and perform inspirering music

It's a different session, but also "from the basement." Weird Fishes was from the In Rainbows session, this is from the King of Limbs session.
