  • Just a quick update! I figured I should share the first start of the engine after rebalancing the crank.
    Testing day footage is coming soon but don't get too excited just yet, I had some camera woes...

      jnuxca Yeah it made a huge difference! No problem keeping it at idle now, and no bits falling off any more :)

    But how can you make a 4 stroke single cylinder engine high revving.. does the cranks balance has something to do with it?

    Why did not you put the Al caps in the crankshaft?

      I didn't want to risk anything coming loose so I tested with open holes first, looks like it is working fine so I think I'll just keep them open.
