- Researchers from Rice University, DuPont and Stanford University have announced a full-scale field test of PGClear, an innovative process that gently destroys some of the world's most pervasive and problematic groundwater pollutants. PGClear arose from basic scientific research at Rice during a 10-year, federally funded initiative to use nanotechnology to clean the environment. The technology uses metal catalysts to break down carcinogenic compounds like vinyl chloride, trichloroethene and chloroform into nontoxic byproducts. tinyurl.com/d9guj4k
This is amazing!
Very interesting.
Won't charcoal also do the same?
