    Hi Kuya Lemon! I took the CPALE last May but sadly I didn't pass. I'm currently employed na sa government while self studying. Any advise po for a working reviewee like me? ( will probably retake next year)

    • @KuyaLemon
      @KuyaLemon  Před 11 měsíci

      Hi Joy!
      Depends on your Career goal. If nasa government office ka where the CPA title will help, I recommend you start reviewing little by little now para next year mas mataas chances mo of passing.
      Even if you failed, don't be discouraged, as long as you are hardworking, trustworthy, and commited it will go well for you with or without the title.
      Just do your best sa work and sa studies. Make some sacrifices but never forget to take care of yourself as well - your wellbeing is more important than the title.
      I can never guarantee that you will pass if follow certain steps. But what I know is that most important part in achieving the title is the journey - yun kasi ung madadala mo character-wise even after you have passed.
      Kaya yan! God bless 🙂

    Kuya, advisable po ba na mag focus sa isang author per CPALE sub or mas okay na diff. author per sub?

    • @KuyaLemon
      @KuyaLemon  Před rokem +1

      1 author lang. The only time na magtwo authors ka is for research purposes or knowledge. But follow your review school/book. Madaming grey areas na dapat magtrust sa author or accounting book

    Good evening po! Please answer me po. Sa mga nakapasa na po sa Board Exam or mga magttake po on October 2023 po, paano po yung review nyo? Hinahati hati nyo po ba ung mga subject tapos sabay sabay nyo pong inaaral? OR tatapusin nyo po muna reviewhin lahat ng topic sa isang subject na di nyo gaano gets like kunyare
    AFAR lang muna for 1 week tapos
    FAR naman sa sunod na week?
    Help po plsss

    Any tips po if working full time ang reviewee?

    • @KuyaLemon
      @KuyaLemon  Před rokem +5

      Based on experience as a former full time worker while reviewing:
      1) Time - Study whenever you have a break - be prepared to sacrifice your weekends and evenings to review.
      2) Make sure you can cover the review topics within the time you are working and studying - so if let's say you begin review by January, make sure you can finish it by May - if not, take it on October.
      3) It's difficult to work while studying because work can demand a lot from you - so it's wise to let your employer know that you will review which in turn will make you unavailable at certain times (i.e. you can't OT, work on weekends etc).
      4) If you consider yourself as someone who needs "zero-based" approach for review, I don't recommend you take full time work while studying. Personally, I think I had a good undergrad that's why I knew I didn't need "zero-based" for review (but this is not the same for everyone - so know yourself, capabilities, and needs).
      5) The upside of working is that you have work experience already by the time you become a CPA. But personally, it's difficult if the work is not WFH.
      Hope this helps!

    • @KuyaLemon

      Depende sa tao e. Ako kasi basa talaga kapag theory pero video if problem solving.
      Reader kasi ako kaya mas mabilis ko maintindihan if via reading

    • @KuyaLemon
      @KuyaLemon  Před rokem +1

      Bakit naman? Madami causes kasi yan, pwde sa puyat and/or a myriad of other things. If puyat ka lagi, I think normal lang yan - siguro do naps (15-30 mins wag lang sa class :) ).
      Just remember din that the effort you place in undergrad pays off until you're working (atleast based on my experience)
