    This was really handy, thanks! I find it so hard to find PFDs whcih fit a large female chest but this looks like it might fit nicely underneath my bust kind of... Its such a shame how hard it is to find safety devices built with womens bodies in mind!!

      Thanks for watching the video and the comment. It is quite hard at the moment to find women's specific PFDs. Depending on the style of paddling you are doing the Astral Layla is a great option (whitewater-centric, though good for recreational/touring use), and The Mustang Revel is a great option, it's adust-a-bust functionality is a hit with lots of women. It wouldn't be great for whitewater, just from a fit standpoint, but a good recreational, canoeing pfd. I just got one of these thinking it would look small and feel small... and it looks small on you lol. It looks small on everyone. On me it's freakin huge! I got a size s/m. so weird how big it is on me! maaan

      Sorry to hear the Ninja fits big on you. My guess is you are a pretty small paddler as my daughter (5'2" 100 lbs) wears one and it fits here well. What kind of paddling are you doing? Wondering if we could suggest an alternative. Thanks for checking out the video and for the comment

      I'm doing whitewater. And I'm 5'5" and 112 lbs. Before I bought this ninja I had an NRS ion. If the ninja doesn't work out I still have my ion at least, lol. It's bigger and bulkier than the ninja but it fits nicer. I bought the ninja used for $25, so not a huge loss lol

      @@ChristelVinot that is a great deal! Although not whitewater specific Mustang make a few different PFDs that fit small and have a pretty low profile. Rumour also has it some of the PFD manufacturers have some new models coming out next year that might work for you .

    Hi! Any recommendations for a paddle boarding pfd?

    • @AQOutdoors

      Are you mainly paddling flatwater or rivers?

    • @ryoguy3236
      @ryoguy3236 Před rokem +1

      Maybe some slow going rivers but nothing too crazy. Flat water mainly, recreational I guess :)

      @@ryoguy3236 you could go with an inflatable waist belt style one. Mustang make a great one. Of you want a traditional PFD the Ninja or Kokatat Hustle are great higher end options. The NRS Vapor or Vista are great more entry level options..
