They honestly feel the music within them. The dynamics and the change of tempo and yet they are still in sync. Beautiful
Great video. This song touches my soul. I used to listen it when my wife suffered a miscarriage and God called our first child to Him. The melody of the two cellos evokes the image of Our Lady, as if she took us by the arm and cherished us, saying that our child is with her waiting for us.
The best interpretation I've heard so far.

@@Swordonator then why have we not heard of them or watch them can you not give these two beautiful young men the praise they deserve and admired them for playing this music so passionate and beautiful they are great musicians and a lot of people can play the cello but very few as well and most play classic music on it but these two young men have created some thing completely different and took their music to the world and also a chance as they have spent there lifes practicing classic music and we know that the classical music world could have turn their backs on these two men because there is a lot of snobs in that world of music and rocks and pop would be considered outlaws same when a few of the tenors sang and recorded different music and were brilliant at whatever they sang and were very popular and this actually brought more people into listening to classic music
I'm going to start my cello lessons this March all because I've been inspired by their passion for it :D Thank you, 2Cellos for just showing what a beautiful, beautiful instrument the cello is.

If you all admire how beautiful it is to hear it, imagine how absolutely enthralling gorgeous it is to be able to play it :) from experience, it is so absolutely wonderful to play prices like these. Look at their faces; it's just so beautiful and they know it haha, but in a good way. Theirs is one of my favorite renditions 💞💞💞

I miss this period. I really do. I hope we can get to see concerts like this again.

It's apparent that both of the guys love what they are playing her, but Stjepan is completely & unapologetically transformed by this transcendent music. Vivaldi has inspired a spiritual ecstasy in Stjepan that is like contemplating Bernini's beautiful The Ecstasy of Saint Teresa, Vivaldi's music the arrow poised to pierce Stjepan's heart. He will surely ascend in a rapture or die of love

Greetings and good luck from Denmark! It is a fantastic world - it can be somewhat confusing at the beginning - but always worth the effort! Baroque music is a good place to be these years, i think :-)
Would love them to go all out with a Vivaldi Concert. Oprah Harnoy should join them as well.
LOVE the faces! Some say it's over the top but music is emotional and thus is should be played! No offense...but most of the other players don't have enough emotion. Singing in choirs, they teach you stage presence. Smile, engage the audience. Recordings are for pure audio experiences, performances are just that :)

Depends..here in Croatia you must go to music school...elementary - 6yrs..high music school - 4 yrs..and finally Music academy - 4 yrs..after that you have to training in Musical Instrument Conservation about 2-3 yrs or more..well you see about 17 (or more) yrs of training in schools..of course it is recommended to go as a little child like Luka and Stjepan did..if you are older then 15 you have shorten program and can accelerate...

this is a small subtlety - 'classical' music in general is a term coined for the type of music, but you are also correct in that this specific piece is not from the "classical era", but the "baroque era"
