for me, it's because i know i am but i can't cry.
crying helps relieve that sadness built up inside you. at least i think so.
Not being able to cry is one of the worst feelings ive experienced
pretty sure none of alex g’s lyrics are about this, but the melancholy tone of his songs really connects to the despondency i feel about my eating disorder. thanks for posting this, sometimes i just want to listen to sad music at unholy hours of the night, and this certainly hits the spot :>
I believe some of his songs do talk about eating disorders, let me look for them, I found a few Water from the album Rules, Come Back also from the album Rules, Crab from Race, and Scared from Monsterhead

Believe me, it does, you’ll laugh at more things and enjoy the thing you thought sucked and look at a slight you’ve looked at 1000 times and realise that you’ve never actually seen it before, and you’ll notice things that no one else has ever seen before and that will be special, no matter what. SO GO TO SLEEP ON TIME, EAT AND TALK TO SOMEONE YOU TRUST ABOUT THE THINGS THAT SCARE YOU!!!!! It makes things better, I swear!
