Here’s how the whole royal thing works lads…
If King Charles dies the crown goes to his first son Prince William. If William dies, the crown goes to his first son Prince George. If George dies with no children he would have died with no ‘heir apparent’. Hence, his little sister Princess Charlotte would become Queen. And if she was to die without a child herself, the crown will then go to her younger brother Prince Louis. Now if Louis was to die without a child, and as he’s the last of William’s kids, only then would Prince Harry (who’s fifth in line) become King. From there the same succession process would continue (i.e if Harry dies, his first son Prince Archie would then become King)
So to simplify it, the crown will always go to the eldest son of the current king or queen. If there are no sons, the crown will go to their eldest daughter. If the current king or queen dies with no kids at all, their eldest male sibling becomes king. But if they have no male sibling, it’ll go to their female sibling.
