Laura shaped me in so many ways 🙌🏻✨it’s soul shifting
It's disappointing how easily impressed you are by a simple, repetitive chord progression that merely serves as a backdrop to Laura Marling's banal and insipid lyrics. Her delivery is like a cheap machine gun, firing stray bullets in an alleyway and constantly jamming up.
Clearly, you've never encountered a real song crafted by a competent musician like Mike Oldfield. 'Moonlight Shadow' utterly eclipses Marling's turgid little ditty. Maggie Reilly's vocal performance is powerful, bringing vivid emotions and imagery to life. The guitar work boasts a rich instrumental arrangement and dynamic structure, culminating in a climactic guitar solo.
So yeah, get some taste.
