This is the side of hunters/hunting that many people don't understand. We don't always need to harvest an animal for it to be a very successful adventure. You knew immediately that you weren't going to shoot that buck, and that speaks volumes. He was a gorgeous buck, that would've caused many to act foolishly. Big bucks make people stupid sometimes. I love your channel. Maybe one day I can enjoy this style of hunting. PA doesn't lend itself to big woods tracking like your neck of the woods. Rarely is there snow during rifle season anymore. Until then, I'll keep hunting this way vicariously through you. Be safe out there.
👍
What an incredible video, watching the buck scratch his back with his antlers was amazing. Really enjoy your videos, especially the filming while tracking, excellent!
Great video, thank you for posting it that we are able to look over your shoulder with you. 😊
👍
Awesome footage, Cory! The hunt is not exclusively about the kill. Some of my greatest hunting memories are just leaving the weapon down and watching deer do their thing.
Nice decision. He's a notch on your belt and you don't have to drag him.
Awesome footage. Thanks for sharing
👍
Awesome job! Thank you for standing out there in the cold weather for so long and bringing this to us. Beautiful to watch that buck doing his thing. You’re in tough hunting country but I have every faith you’ll get your buck! Love to Gracie ❤
You have some of the best tracking videos and I feel the same way about hunting. It’s all about being outdoors and the adventure not the kill.
Thanks
Great video! I really enjoy listening to you on podcasts but I’m glad that you’re keeping these videos on your own page
Great hunt Corey! One doesn't always need to harvest an animal to have a successful hunt. God bless you!
Awesome Video thank you so much for sharing your adventure I'm the same way I would rather watch the wildwife and wait till closer to the end of the season before ending my journey 😊
Thanks 👍
That was really cool to watch. Really enjoy watching you and your travels in the woods hunting. Thanks for sharing
Incredible. That's the best footage of a buck that I've ever seen. Thank you for sharing that moment.
Cory, outstanding!!!!!! Following you is like being on the track! Thank you.
Great content!
We try
Awesome footage Cory! I completely understand your thoughts on that buck. Most hunters would have shot it and been ecstatic, but for some there’s more to it. I look forward to all the upcoming segments. Take care and stay safe!
Excellent video Cory. I enjoyed watching it. Take care and God Bless you and Gracie always

Excellent video! Can't wait for more!
That's an awesome encounter. That's what it's all about right there. Refreshing to see you pass up on a nice buck. Sometimes you are just not ready to harvest and just want to be in the woods and hunt em longer and keep looking for the right one.
Just a beautiful buck so cool to watch him thanks for the fantastic video most people would of taken that deer I’m glad you took the video and just to watch him in the woods
Good video, very surprising you didn’t take that ten,he was a nice one.

Nice work.
👍
Cory thanks for sharing.
Great job,,, Thank you for sharing !
Thanks
Sometimes you’re just not ready for it to be over that quickly. November only comes once a year, and as I get older they all seem to go by quicker. It’s best to pack as much adventure and memories in as we can, someday thats all we’ll have are those memories. You’ll remember that one the rest of your days.
Well said, that was a successful hunt no matter how you look at it
Great hunt. One you will never forget. Congratulations 👍👍👍
Thanks 👍
Great video Cory!!! That was a great looking buck!!!
Yes it was!
Amen brother-people think I’m crazy when I say I don’t care if I get one….too much glory killing nowadays. Your hunting for the right reasons.
I have nothing to prove to anyone
Love it man awesome
Thanks!
Amen to your ethical hunting.

Now and then, you’ve just got to appreciate where you’re at and take it all in
It’s good to be still and not soo destructive all the time

Glad you enjoyed it
awesome encounters in the big woods.
👍
I can't believe that buck didn't scat ass when u walked up on him and he was looking right towards you videoing ... that is some craymazing footage !
Look like he had a 3 year itch nice footage all around 🦌🇱🇷
That deer will be a sure nuff stud next season. Gorgeous animal
Should be 100+ likes!!!
Awesome video. Incredible buck. For you I think that was a great call on not shooting him. Nice young buck, you've given him a chance to live a little longer and to become smarter. You need to find an older wiser buck to challenge your skill level. Love that you appreciate the essence of the hunt, it's what it's all about. Thank you for your videos and God bless ❤️🇺🇲
Thanks
Good on ya for letting him go, I don’t think I’d be able to watch that buck for that long without talking myself into shooting.
Good statement at the end! Hunting is about our own experience, not to impress others. Although, it does seem like alot of guys are about outdoing eachothers weight and antler spread , I personally could care less. I think hunting is a very personal thing. Humility.
❤❤❤
The almost unperceivable Flinch at the first snort. Gave me a little laugh, because I did the same thing at the same time.
Yes i did flinch i wasn’t ready for it
@@TheMaineWoods that was a really good video. Your rock solid Crystal clear footage of the 10 pointer, was outstanding .
@@charlesfredrick4789 thank you
It must have been tough to let him go, you must have a picture of a bigger one on your trail cam!
Great encounter Iam sure
Im 44 years old and i killed my first deer 🦌 buck at 13 year's old and it scored 146 5/8 at north Carolina dixie deer classic in 1993 and was awarded biggest buck in north Carolina by youth ! It was an exciting time with newspapers and being on news etc. And it was a proud moment in my life ...
I have since been an avid hunter and have harvested several 150+ bucks but as i get older i have less desire to put an arrow through these brilliant majestic resilient animals , they're amazing creature's . I tell myself i am good with harvesting old mature bucks that are up in age and looking the retirement home so to speak but then i think this old buck has survived 5-8+ year's and i would be honored to take a buck of that maturity yet ive realized that they are more beautiful on the hoof than on the wall and apart of mejust wants to film the deer 🦌 and make videos/ take photos etc. I really have had a change ofheart abdhow i look at hunting as I've matured and gotten older and now i think im gonna start really challenging myself more and try to have the most up close encounters and hunts i can ! I think i am gonna try to actually sling bow hunt with a sling bow that shoots around 150-180+ fps depending on arrow build ... i think this will allow me to have closer encounters and be efficient and effective atclose range 20-30 yards max ! I really just feel like if im gonna harvest a deer i need to start challenging myself more and i believe a sling bow is as effective as any traditional bow & arrow ! I really think videos of the deer that you can look at anytime without killing is just as good as a wall mount !
Dood your a animal I would have been tagged out and proud too 🤙🏻🤙🏻🤙🏻
Super.
Thank you
Don’t forget to like people!!!
Curious why you don't use a low power scope. Maybe, 1.5 -4x.
It might be ok
