It's definitely less scrubby than SFV, ontop of having actual defensive mechanics that aren't an invincible DP.

tbh SFV is a very mediocre fighting game . the only reason it lasted this long its because the game is part of one of the biggest fighting games titles out there along with Tekken and MK. lets also not talk about its terrible netcode no normal fighting games with that type of netcode will maintain a player base for this long.

Melty's definitely better than SFV though.
SFV is is highly regarded as mediocre and no where near the level of past SF games, Guilty Gear's online format is terrible and confusing, and no one plays Virtua Fighter anymore. IMO Melty Blood is undoubtedly the best fighting game out rn.
