  • Turning our attention to ANC-related matters nowMandla Msibi, the newly elected Treasurer of the party in Mpumalanga has been requested to step aside - hardly a few days after his election.
This past weekend, the ANC in Mpumalanga held its 13th Provincial elective conference, which saw Mandla Ndlovu becoming the chairperson. On Sunday, ANC president, Cyril Ramaphosa appealed to the newly elected provincial leadership to deal with the issue of Mandla Msibi in accordance with the resolutions of the 2017 national elective conference of the party. The ANC national officials wrote a letter to Msibi, saying that he must respond, alerting them when he will be stepping aside from his position. Msibi is facing two murder charges and is expected to appear in the High Court in Nelspruit, later this year. Newly elected ANC Mpumalanga chairperson, Mandla Ndlovu joins us now for this conversation.
