Enjoy an hour of Jessie's Theme along with the atmosphere of the Upper Plate of Sector 7 in Final Fantasy 7 Remake.
ABOUT THIS GAME
The world is under the control of Shinra, a corporation controlling the planet's life force as mako energy. In the city of Midgar, Cloud Strife, former member of Shinra's elite SOLDIER unit now turned mercenary lends his aid to the Avalanche resistance group, unaware of the epic consequences that await him.
FINAL FANTASY VII REMAKE is a reimagining of the iconic original with unforgettable characters, a mind-blowing story, and epic battles. The story of this first, standalone game in the FINAL FANTASY VII REMAKE project covers up to the party’s escape from Midgar, and goes deeper into the events occurring in Midgar than the original FINAL FANTASY VII.

I give respect. I kid you not I stood in that exact spot and listened to this tune on the game and fell asleep. It quickly became my favorite aesthetic moment in the whole game. Beautiful.
Thank you!! Definitely one of my favorite moments in the game as well. And another reason why I started doing this in the first place, so I could get all my favorite clips in one place that I would fall asleep to as well without having my PlayStation on constantly
For me, it was the Sector 5 Slums. There were MANY moments in this game made me just stop and take it in for a while, but the atmosphere and the song there brought me back to the area many times.
@@Dairkun Hollow is sick
I stood in this place too...I even recorded it on my console lol..something about it just hit me in the feels
One of the things I really liked about the remake was how human they made all
of Midgar seem. The homes. The random NPC people, all of
these average citizens/people going about their lives…really makes what happens with the plate more impactful.
I am the "like" 100
I loved this chapter, but I found this particular segment of events quite sad.
There's something about the calming song, the quiet of the deep night, the Shinra blue collar housing, the growing comraderie between Cloud, Biggs, and Wedge... and then there was meeting Jessie's mother (...and father).
It was very bittersweet and somber, yet comforting and lovely.
Agreed, really glad they expanded upon these characters!
The FFVII Remake is WONDERFUL. Look at this model of Cloud, the lights, colors, the ambient, the music. Thanks Square to have brought to life this old masterpiece game in a new modern era.
The scenes with Jessie are arguably the best parts of the remake. Character development on Jessie, Biggs, and Wedge were the only thing the original was missing.
Definitely! Really glad they fleshed out this aspect of the game and really looking forward to see what they do with some of the other aspects in future games.
The atmosphere and theme are beautiful.
This game hold a very special place in my heart. When life is hurting, im always coming and listening to this. It's one of the rare tracks who can bring me peace. One of the most touching moment of this masterpiece.
i've come back to this more times than i would like to recall... it captures something that i cant explain, but it gives me so much peace
bruh ngl weirdly this section is one of my favorites in the game for some reason even tho its linear and the place is not that explorable but the ambience, the atmosphere of the Sector 7 upper plate, the mako filter and talking with Biggs and Wedge about Jessie just made the experience great for me. Obviously Jessie's theme is a also huge part on making the experience better too.
Just to get a few glimpses of the uppers plate was really cool. All the music and atmosphere of FF7R just gets me and I agree, this was a very welcome addition to the narrative and the soundtrack.
"Hey... Still waiting on that pizza."
The moment this theme started playing when we reached mid level employees housing at night time, I kinda just stood there enjoying the atmosphere and music. Beautifully done.
I refuse to believe that was her end. I'm still holding on to the hope that she somehow made it.
Topside Midgar is really underrated. I kind of wish there was or that we could have had more content there. It's like suburbia in Japan
I imagine cloud is missing his mom who is gone, I would hold him and comfort him with this song.
Love videos like these, thank you! 🙏
Thanks! Glad you’re enjoying them!!!
I just replayed this chapter last night. What a great theme🥲
thanks for this. I love this game
Absolutely! Glad you enjoyed
Thanks for posting, helps a lot.
Glad it helped
Love the chill videos. Thanks again
Glad you like them! Thanks for watching
Beautiful atmosphere.
Thank you!! Glad you enjoyed
The Japan's version of cyberpunk.
Both are great game with different playstyle.
But what I appreciate more on FF7 is that they give the NPC more live, more unique story & conversations. Even if it's not important but it make you feel home and cozy.
My favorite place in the whole game, seeing this for the first time had me in wonder and made me get the game 2 years ago. Number 1 place I’d visit if it was real.
*Only* problem I had with this scene...
... If you turn around, there's an overpass / bridge that goes above the street you are on. See those high-voltage lines to the left of cloud? They are about 20-25 feet up on those electrical poles.
Well, those electrical wires run straight towards the bridge behind Cloud without being raised at all (or run in a conduit underneath) - so that, if you were on a motorcycle / walking / riding your bike on that bridge, you would be clotheslined by the cables as they are (at most) maybe 5 feet above street level on the bridge.
It was certainly one of those "What the?!?!?" moments in an otherwise peaceful and great chapter.
(Also to get on my nitpick - Jessie's parents would *definitely* be considered upper class).
Midgar is limited in space and the upper plates are more pack-ed in / high density, as shown from the devastation when the sector 7 plate collapse in chapter 15. A lot of those buildings are high-rises, which makes sense given the limited building area you are restricted to.
With space at a premium in Midgar, you can't waste space building single-family homes - unless you have the money (or influence) to afford it. Either that, or Midgar has some... *terrible*... urban planners on staff.
I love Jessie, great energy
Thank you.
Glad you enjoyed!
all its music is great
Completely agree and I can't wait for the next games as they update and add more music to this library!
They really made you care about these 3 more, especially Jesse. I kinda had an idea where this game was heading when the instance of the ghosts moving around to hurt her to force Cloud to go with them for that mission. She grew on me and became my favorite of the three. So when it was time, it took everything in me not to bawl my eyes out. You sons of bitches...you got me. And your gonna get me again in the next game
I wish I could like this game. The music, voice acting, graphics, and combat are fun.... but the pacing and filler are driving me nuts. Sun lamps, the amount of times you have to slowly walk sideways through a narrow gap, I mean the two fights on this mission with Roache just seemed to awkwardly forced in. I'm now on the Aerith goes to Sector Six / Robot Arms moment, and I feel like they intentionally tried to slow the story way down :-/
@@judyhopps9380 they didn’t slow anything down. Final Fantasy VII - The Unknown Journey is going to be a 400 Hour long videogame masterpiece.
@@gorganhorn6872 brevity is the soul of wit
Al igual que otro comentario que he leido yo también, paré en ese lugar para escuchar la musica y me dormí, consigue relajarme 👏👏👏
Just a wee observation: I've never actually watched Cloud's movements when stood still until just now!
My favorite chapter is chapter 11 which is haunted btw i love the music
this should be the night time theme in FFXIV sanctuary island
This song really was one of the best additions to the soundtrack
@@travelersden Is this a new theme or was it already on the og game? It sounds like Depapepe's music. Really nice theme.
@@huwathwatt Think it's new, I don't remember hearing it in the OG
This gave me Chrono Cross vibes.

You got to try my moms famous pizza
It's really shitty that everyone here dies. I'm not sure why her parents had to live above Sector 7. No, it would have been horrible to have her mother have to carry on with her beautiful, vivacious young daughter dead... but it sucks to introduce her and the father just to wipe them out like 24 hours later.
Honestly, the more I play Remake/Rebirth, the less satisfied I am with the "multiverse that isn't." If you're going to tell a new story, then tell a new story. But telling a slightly altered story where every single major death is still locked in from the get-go seems... almost insincere, in a way. Deaths in fiction should shock and appall the audience - they shouldn't be a checklist that predictably mars every single plot turn.
Even tho tifas theme is still the best one. Jessie theme is 2nd best whole aeriths theme is 3rd
Jessie was the most annoying character of this whole game. She was way better in the original.
I enjoyed a bit more backstory to characters I didn’t even care about in the OG, but to each their own
Lol cope and cry harder so that others can hear you too
This is extremely repetitive music and horrible to try to fall asleep to
well tbf, you arent supposed to be listening to it for an hour straight ingame
Yea, you're tripping
@@iamtamashii4184 lmao I was indeed tripping!
