My youngest son had a slight autism and speech delay. He would just cry if he wanted something. Along with my wife and my eldest son kept on talking to him and showing him love and affection. He started talking with mumbled words/sounds and fast forward, to today, he's the most talkative kid in our home. Don't give up on your kids even if everybody thinks what you're doing is pointless. 👍
@@LauraBidingCitizen He probably means low on the spectrum. My godson is the same way, he barely spoke when he was little and now at 9 he doesnt stop talking. Lol
That was me with my oldest autistic kiddo. Took him seven years to finally talk and tell me he loved me. He was just gathering a bunch of knowledge and started talking.. then he became little Einstein. He could probably pass the state boards for nursing. He would look through my books, medical journals and medical encyclopedia. When he started talking I was just in awe at his knowledge. When he said I love you for the first time he branded my heart. ❤
When I wasn’t born my autistic brother didn’t speak at all and would only make noises. My parents were always worried that he will never speak. But when I born and a few years had past, I started talking before him. I would always talk to him even when he couldn’t say anything back. Later on he started to talk too, and my parents always say that I am the reason that he talks now today.
thats beautiful. i am autistic, did speak as a kid, but my biggest issue was always a sort of extreme delayed maturity like i was more like a 12 year old at 18 years ols. i feel terrible for it but my little sister has been my big sister for a long time, though as kids it felt like we got to grow up as twins so close were we. siblings are nothing but a blessing for autistic kids. i would have had nobody in my life if didnt have my sister
This is to heart warming! I have autism as well, as usual I'm not able to show of "real" facial expressions, it's hard to say any loving words without an explanation. Have an amazing lucky yr to all of you! And god bless the family.
So beautiful her and her husbands reactions were beautiful made my heart drop in a good way and the I love you from the son was absolutly beautiful and the best thing I've ever heard
My grandson was non verbal for a good while. But he finally started talking some. I never doubted that he could, I just didn't expect him to get the meaning so quick. I love watching the difference between him (being autistic) and his sister who isn't. They have always understood each other.
As a mother of a special needs child, I promise you that it’s the little wins throughout their lives that get you through the often overwhelming challenges. My daughter is grown now but still has these moments. I love her so much and there’s nothing like seeing her succeed. 😊
Those two words were priceless to that amazing Mother and of course Dad. But her expression in the car and the realisation that her precious son had said it back made her cry had me in tears 😭 also. I have autism in my family and sometimes these moments no amount of money can buy. Thank you for the reality check as to what is REALLY important in life. I actually shedded a damn tear, this is amazing!
Me two🥲
I'm bawling like a baby 😂
Thankfull for such great mothers on this earth!!! This children are blessed! My mother is narcissistic, but I find peace and I am soooooo thankful that some other children are blessed and experience joy in their family ❤
Unconditional love of a mother. They even took me by surprise. When you got me emotional for her precious little angel. May God continue to bless this sweet family.❤
What do you mean by ‘slight autism’ ? Was he diagnosed?
@@LauraBidingCitizen He probably means low on the spectrum. My godson is the same way, he barely spoke when he was little and now at 9 he doesnt stop talking. Lol
“Slight autism” isn’t a thing, I’m sorry it just isn’t.
(Coming from an autistic person)
@@Moldyyy_ Maybe they could have worded it better, but why be snarky?
@@Moldyyy_ it is a thing. Your just slow.
Usually the way hun, very very clever, these kids are genius at something always 👏 ❤
Tearfully heartwarming. GOD bless this family.!!!
He's beautiful! 💜🇬🇧
When I wasn’t born my autistic brother didn’t speak at all and would only make noises. My parents were always worried that he will never speak. But when I born and a few years had past, I started talking before him. I would always talk to him even when he couldn’t say anything back. Later on he started to talk too, and my parents always say that I am the reason that he talks now today.
aww 🥰 ❤
That’s beautiful 💛
yes!! this is beautiful 😍
thats beautiful. i am autistic, did speak as a kid, but my biggest issue was always a sort of extreme delayed maturity like i was more like a 12 year old at 18 years ols.
i feel terrible for it but my little sister has been my big sister for a long time, though as kids it felt like we got to grow up as twins so close were we.
siblings are nothing but a blessing for autistic kids. i would have had nobody in my life if didnt have my sister
Sending sprinkles of patience to all parents and care givers of different/divergent children.
This is to heart warming! I have autism as well, as usual I'm not able to show of "real" facial expressions, it's hard to say any loving words without an explanation. Have an amazing lucky yr to all of you! And god bless the family.
To have ur child say I love u to a parent for the first time is just so precious.😊
Never give up on your kids no matter what
A true parent will make his kids shine ✨
a beautiful and rare moment for an autistic child. a wonderful mom - she says it with love, smiles, and hugs.
It's the little things that matter and bring us joy!
Happy for you Ma.❤❤❤
I'm covered in goosebumps. A mother's love is pure magic 🪄
2am in the morning I am in tears!!! Great job Mom! He loves you!!❤️🙏
I’m crying right now. Nothings like a mother’s love.❤😭
So beautiful her and her husbands reactions were beautiful made my heart drop in a good way and the I love you from the son was absolutly beautiful and the best thing I've ever heard
This made me tear up. So heartwarming!
My grandson was non verbal for a good while. But he finally started talking some. I never doubted that he could, I just didn't expect him to get the meaning so quick. I love watching the difference between him (being autistic) and his sister who isn't. They have always understood each other.
My autistic son is non verbal & he eventually said I luv u back. My reaction was hers. He's says only 1 other word which is amen!! 🙏🤟🇺🇸Iowa
That's big! She never gave up, driven by love and hope. ❤😂
That is love of a mother. She never give up on her child. Her reaction is wholesome and made me cry. You made my day mom. ❤
Same. This warms my heart so much ❤️
@@ghju Am so happy that he got a great mom and she deserve to be happy.
As a parent of an autistic child, all of there first moments are special, and are truly a blessing
Amen !! Glory to God!! He’s an awesome God!!
Cutie lil one.. thank God for his sweet and lovable spirit ❤🙏🏾😇
This touch my soul and had me in tears. My nephew is autistic. His non vebal. His word is ELEPHANT AND LOVES ELEPHANTS
A mother's love is precious...nothing can compare. That boy is lucky to have a mom like this.
It’s “LOVE” because you can’t buy it but if you have it keep it in your heart ♥️ forever. Thank you so much for sharing now I have to find a tissue!!!💕♥️💕
I waited to hear my GGS at age 3, almost 4 say "Grandma!" Still the sweetest thing. It was worth the wait. Love you Bud!
