Telltale actually made some Back to the Future games and they were pretty good. I thoroughly enjoyed them. It was clear they took their time and tried to capture as much of the feel and essence of the movies as possible and pay tribute to it as best they could.

Calling that number would have led to a recorded call giving the player hints about the game
But it got disconnected a year after the game came out and was eventually used by a sex hotline
So yes he’s telling the truth lol

Telltales made a Back To The Future game that was pretty good. It's has some issues but it's still really charming making it easy to look pass the issues. At least it does for me.
They even got Christopher Lloyd to voice Doc for the game and Michael J Fox made a cameo with adult Marty, since he's voice is a bit to old for teenage Marty now.
