The only thing that has changed in Season 3.5 for Base Goku is that his B assist now charges a full bar instead of 0.75 every time it's used! Everything else is still up to date.

@@christianxxx9393 honestly, I feel that showing the button inputs is more universal than dropping a video that explains the symbols. Idk if it’s gon take more time editing in symbols and button inputs but that’s just me. I’m not the one making the video.
@@oversized2inch897 I Usually just day Down heavy or standing heavy when I’m speaking to noobs, but say 2H or 5H when I talking to actual dbfz players.
The numbers are easier than MK11 so idk m8. Try remembering the numbers and what they do! Specially 236 and such (quarter circle).
One thing, Goku Base j236X is not the same as the ground one, since medium can combo midscreen while also having the frame 4 inv, i honestly think this guide needs a remake or remaster, it's isn't one of your greatest

Like this guide teaches everything and on top of that guides you to learn more and how to proceed with your journey.

Damn, your guides are probably the clearest, yet still comprehensive combo videos out there. A lot of guides will show a bunch of different combos but don't really make it clear when and where each one is best used. True, they might show more options overall, but at the end of the day, I think the majority of players just want to be told, "These are the ones you really should be using." And I even like how you'll note if something maybe not the most optimal in terms of damage, but it's probably better just to stick with it because it's much easier and more consistent than the highest damage option. A pet peeve of mine is watching some combo guide and laboring hours and hours over a combo, only to learn that there's a much easier version that sacrifices just a few points of damage, especially when I see pro players using the "easy combo" over the highest damage one in games because they know that a dropped combo is missing damage. Please continue with all characters!
EDIT: Also great work listing down both the damage, scaled damage, and meter gain of each combo.

Don't normally comment on youtube videos at all, but wanted to say thanks for the guide! I've been struggling to learn Base Goku and making him fit with my team, but this really helped me learn his proper moveset and combos! You're definitely much better than most other people making guides for this game out there.

I gotta say, your guides are so great, definitely the best. They got humor and character. In my opinion, your vids are the easiest to learn from. Baseku is my favorite character, I just love his kaioken and the damage he does. Your video showed me what loops are and I’m lucky enough to have videos from you about most of the characters I like (Gogeta and Bluegeta). I’m still trying to nail down all of the combos and such with all of these characters, but your vids have been a tremendous help. I remember pulling off the air extension once against my friends and they went crazy, because they really haven’t seen that either. So I sent your vids to them and my friend absolutely loved your Frieza vid, so just keep up the great work!

As a disclaimer: the on-screen annotation for the x20 Kaioken @ 4:40 is different from the annotation in the description (the 5L and 2L are swapped) The one in the description is the one he performs on-screen
I noticed watching it back but there shouldnt be a damage difference so I kept it. As long as you use both 2L and 5L you should be good.

It still hits me from time to time how cool it is that the original Spirit Bomb gets to be a special move.
My initial Dragon Ball games were Tenkaichi 2 and 3, wherein oftentimes a character's higher forms, or later story iterations, get their lower forms' ultimate moves as specials, and at one point I started thinking about how neat it'd be if the smaller Spirit Bomb got the same treatment. Then FighterZ made it happen!

I think it was about time i started to actually do character specific combos for this guy rather than the basic dragon ball bnb xD i already knew tod's and some cool vanish confirms and extentions as well as kaioken shinanigans but the bnb's were definitely lacking

I'm astounded on how many different combos base goku has especially seeing his simple tool kit, only one I know is a normal BnB
All it takes is a full Season of only 4-5 dedicated anchor characters and people will figure out some crazy combos using the most barebones tools
