Dean’s Meeting with MACS & IMACC 2023 Classes

  • On 12 July, the new Dean of IACA, Professor Slagjana Taseva, virtually met with and addressed the students of the Master in Anti-Corruption Studies (MACS) and International Master in Anti-Corruption Compliance and Collective Action (IMACC) 2023 programmes. The Dean recounted to them her lifelong dedication to the cause of the fight against corruption and her goal of building capacities, both at institutional and individual levels. She emphasised the importance of education in the fight against corruption and inquired about the students' experiences, especially how their respective programmes have impacted their careers so far. She asked them for their feedback and suggestions on how IACA can improve its programmes and activities

    The students are currently in their fourth module, which for MACS is titled ‘Economics of Corruption’, and for IMACC, ‘Behavioural and Institutional Economics of Anti-Corruption Compliance.’ The MACS & IMACC 2023 students come from different backgrounds, including international organisations , anti-corruption agencies and other public institutions, as well as the private sector. They originate from 17 countries.
