Upendra W if you look closely at 8:43 , its fluctuating, average does not fluctuate like this. Mileage is instantaneous. He is showing the mileage as 35kmpl, whereas average may be much lower than this.

Gagan sir, 3 points for this video
1. Tyre pressure should be checked when tyre is cold.
2. For optimum mileage, accelerate on incline to maintain speed while idle the accelerator in top gear on downhill.
Also, new vehicles are very complex. Don't need to drive slow for better mileage.
3. DTE is not the measure for the mileage. It's the current calculation of the on board computer taking into account the fuel remaining, DTE and your accelation.

Hi Gagan after seeing this video I tried the milage test on my Aspire and I was amazed to saw that my vehicle was giving 38.6 km/L. I was driving back from Gorakhpur to Lucknow via Highway. I am also having the Screen Shot for the same during my entire journey.
Diesel cars can give really crazy mileage figures when driven sensibly. Even petrol engines can give surprising fuel efficiency on a steady foot.
Truly genuine video.. I liked the genuineness of the person and the way he suggested to be safe on roads. Good job but don't take risk for video.
You should fill up to full, reset trip meter to 0, travel a certain distance (say 300 to 400 ish) and refuel the tank to full. Take the Distance traveled and divide by fuel consumed. Its the most accurate way to measure FE. My car shows me 14-15 while it really gives me just 12-13.

Just did a 600 km (approx) in my Ford Endeavour 3.2 which i got just a couple of weeks back..... got mileage of 12.3 km/l with average mileage above 11 km/l...... the vehicle was fully loaded with 5 adults and cargo..... you can well judge my satisfaction at this point.....

@@MyGauravsingh November 2018 built..... about the average in city conditions, I wont be able to tell you much as it was hardly driven in the city as i have other cars for city commute.... all in all it must not have done more than 120 kms in city traffic conditions.... and my collective average is slightly above 11.... so i guess, city mileage could be around 9.5 or 10.... but this is a pure guess... it could be less... honestly, this type of vehicle is purely for highway commutes, not for bumper to bumper traffics..... also driving a car this size in the city could get challenging due to parking woes....

I have Aspire titanium petrol 2019 model. It's a new car and has completed 2500 km recently. While on a recent trip of about 260 km which included 180 km of highway and rest city drive, it displayed on the MID a mileage of 10.9 kmpl. I drove it at about 70-80 kmph and It was a very hot day so the AC was set at 24 on auto mode throughout the journey. Will the mileage increase after the first service and also is it better to keep the AC on auto or whether the manual mode will return better fuel efficiency?

My Ford Figo 2010 Peteol still gives me 24 to 25 on Mumbai-Pune express way, and that express way is full of huge elevation changes due to western ghats. And I drive at an average of 100 to 120 kmph on the express way, this only drops near Lonavala to about 60 to 80 kmph due to the ghats. Ford engines are amazing.
