I could use the One+ as I only do MDI. I don't ever wear any Dexcoms on my arm though! I wear them on my chest. Works well for me. I can shave there easily and do better site prep. That way they never fall off, even without any over-patches. I had a G6 sensor stay on for over a month with no pull-away. Great vid and interview. I hope direct to other smart watches can come soon. I run ultra marathons. I need a Dexcom to connect to Garmin or Coros watches. Apple watches, even the newer "Ultra" does not last long enough in GPX mode to get me through a 100 mile foot race. Garmin and Coros watches can. I get numbers on my Garmin now but it is not direct to watch. It is 10 minutes later, which is not good if one is running through the woods, and worse when there is no cell connection. That happens a lot.

I used to use Dexcom G6 with AID, until I moved to a country where the only CGM I can get is the Dexcom One. I would love to switch to a G7 and get my closed loop back, but as long as that's not available here, I'm also happy about this upgrade to One+. It's not offered here yet so I'm glad to hear they're planning to roll it out across Europe. Thank you for covering this topic on your channel. I had never even heard of the One system until I suddenly had to start using it.

Was using G7, then got new phone and they shut me out. Now have to use Libre 3 Sadly neither company is even bothering to embrace non Apple watches. Totally sucks for those of us who don't want to deal with Apple. How about embracing the other half of us who use Android?

The Dexcom rep got my attention when he said it has reduced BT connectivity but did not expand on the change. I use both a smart phone and a receiver so I have a backup already online and working should the phone or receiver get lost, damaged etc. The receiver is great when the small front pocket form factor is important and the cell is important for wifi data uploads. Also interested in if the cost savings by Dex will be shared in part to its customers or insurance providers.

Are there any features in dexcom one that will be sunset?
Appreciate one and one+ will continue for the time being but I'm concerned as someone who enjoys using their dexcom one to monitor their t2d, but it's really hard to work out what is actually changing with the new dexcom one+ offering. I don't just want "improvements" but a full specification list to compare.

As a type one diabetic, I didn’t realize there was sensors for type two diabetics. Since I use Omnipod five, I can only do the closed loop system with the Dexcom G6. But now I know the Dexcom 1, 1+ and Stelo are definitely not for me. I’m really hoping the G7 becomes compatible with the Omnipod five that way my warm up is only 30 minutes and it has a grace period as well, also, I can have two censors on at the same time, so that when the new one is done warming up, I can then take off the one I’ve had on for 10 days, that way there’s no gap in my readings. Also, it being a lot smaller and thinner will be a nice new thing as well.

Hi i’m from Italy and I wear the one + good interview but sincerely I don’t understand if the possibility to use only the Apple watch to see my glucose data as the G7, is something for sure they want to bring also on the one + in the future or they are thinking about that so isn’t sure it will be happen ? Thank you

Why are the sesnors compatible just to apple watch?
If they make it compatible to android wear as well, it would be available on multiple smart watches with android ....

Thanks for the interview. It seems that G7 and One+ are just different in software. The G7 features detecting quick rises or drops is great, not sure why exactly they do not offer that to all type 1 users.

The one+ is aimed at type 2 users, the g7 for type 1 and people using insuline pumps. I've been on the one+ for over a week now, and i like it. But this is my first cgm, so i cannot say why its mainly for type 2.

Dexcom one so needed upgrading. The thing sucks.
    Needed follow apps
Can't even use swipe down to check bg. You have too open the full app and see from there. Won't connect too any pump. If buying don't waste time or money, libre freestyle 2 is better and that's saying a lot. G6 is way better same as fl3. Just dont waste your money or time in dexcom one. The one plus sounds better than the one but having many products that all do different things is confusing. Just stick too one or two and make em good since they can but choose not too

why make so many sensors when you can make one that can do it all I don't understand the point of it. it's really trashy thinking that doesn't make sense...must be something American
