I'm glad I heard him say that Paddy fought like he wanted the $100k because I heard him say in another video that it was the last time he was raising the fight purse to $100k or anything crazy because none of the fighters fought any harder because of it. @@atex6175 Yeah absolutely. I think that's part of the reason why Leon looked so sluggish. It's one thing adapting to a new time zone, but it's totally different trying to adjust your body clock to sleep during the day. I know this all too well, as I work nights myself.

Every place has its idiosyncrasies...and the UK is not the only place that does that "singing"....like being a visitor and seeing a group of young men walking down the street abreast and singing in Norway. As an American it is amusing...not sure why...just is.

US time is used cuz they get the most ppv money from them so they put them first with it .
On US time, because the fight was originally not going to be in UK. TV ppv Contracts already done n dusted. So it had to be aired then.
Previous UK ones were UK time.

King Paddy
You have to give credit where it is due. Paddy came into that fight in great condition and with a strong gameplan. I'm less confident in his balance of skills within the top 10 but for now he puts on a good show and delivered a decent main event.
Maybe do an event at 9pm english time for the fans. Americans will tune in at 3 pm. They tune in for us. This is global now. Give the English some respect

Am I the only one of the opinion that Bobby didn’t necessarily shoot a takedown? What I saw was a guy who got hit with some hard calf kicks, and that sequence is a result of a hard calf kick at very close range that put Bobby out of physician in close range, leaving him with no option other than to engage in the takedown. He was almost put there by the momentum of the kick and would have been in a terrible defensive position, trying to back out that close in range. In other words, he was basically kicked into the beginning of a takedown and had no choice, but to try to finish it.
I can't believe the ref let Paddy injure Greene's arm after he was clearly out. Bad look for refs.

Bobby Green was deffo a better name. I think for some reason he was beat before he went into the Octogon. I think knowing Paddy had zero fear at all served to defeat his mind. You can see it in his demeaner both during the stare down and in the octagon itself. It's interesting because Bobby can fight like fuck. Maybe he did just get caught. I'd like to see this fight happen again but with Bobby in his right frame of mind. Was kinda let down by this out come but you can't take it away from Paddy, the triangle was clean and well executed.
