The Zoom75 sounds good without foam, the QK arguably does not - to me at least. I agree with your thoughts on the design though, I like the QK a lot better in the regard.
Been waiting for this comparison
TBH both qk75 and zoom75 are tight. Whichever u get is lit af
in terms of sound, if you like that marbly sound then qk is the only thing you need and it will be the best at it on this price range. the zoom is much more versatile and it sounds great on a lot more configuration, with or without foam.
The comparison we needed is finally here
now ive got mine finally, the qk75 does absolutely clear.
matcha latte's insside, Case Foam + PE Foam + Plate foam w/ pom plate

Really want to see you branch out into things on other than keyboards. You’re an interesting and intelligent dude and even though your interest in keyboards in decreasing Id still love to get content that you are passionate about.
I appreciate you saying that man
I wish the compact 84 key was still popular.
Making any keyboard sound good is stupid easy. The problem is the quality of the board itself, its case, and the components in the kit. The problem with these Chinese owned companies is the software you need to run on your PC for that screen to do squat. The second ASUS offers an all aluminum case and hall-effect switches they will own the gamer keyboard market segment. Also, I hate when a USB is dead center of the keyboard. I'm right-handed so I want it on the left.
Funny that you've got the kabukicho keycaps on the qk, I picked up a set for the teal zoom 75 I ordered. Pretty excited for it. Out of the big 3, jris qk and zoom, zoom 75 was the only one I could order with zero compromise. Full tri mode, full rgb, and ISO support
I'm using kabukicho keycaps on my suave blue Tomo and they're just perfect with each other. Btw I ordered a Zoom75 also, pretty excited for it too
i got teal too 😩😩
ACDC T-shirt 🔥🔥
I got the QK75 as my first custom keyboard and I am not at all disappointed, tho the final build cost me around the $550 mark due to all the high shipping and import charges.
This keyboard was only sold for more than 1,000 yuan at the time of Chinese mainland

wtf
I prefer the format and styling of the QK75, exploded keebs ftw. Plus the Canadian Meletrix vendor is pretty terrible at handling GBs, to the point that I wasn't even willing to consider the zoom75 even though the colors are way more attractive, I did look at direct buy from Meletrix but it was something like $100 more expensive so hard no on that.
Wait what do you mean by terrible at handling group buys? D:
Elaborate yo
Hey CG! Do you remember me from your Zoom75 Livestream? I was suggesting you put some Akko v3 Jelly Blues in there. I'd still love to see that, but this was a great video!
One thing to consider too is dimensions and typing angle. Qk75 has 8 degree typing angle vs Zoom 75 which is 5 degree typing angle.
That can be a big deciding factor for some.
This shit sounds like you copied and pasted this from Google
I would be happy with either but ended up buying the zoom because it was available.
Hello, can You please make a video about the best and cheapest 75% keyboards that money can buy please? Id love to have a custom keyboard but the prices are crazy and I will never be able to afford one.
"I'm not gonna waste your time with random facts" proceeds to point out every single feature in the zoom75 we've all heard about in dozens of zoom75 videos. Even with a "are you ready for this? It has a screen" like woah dude omg really? You don't say!
Brother.. what do you want me to say? Sorry that I didn’t do exactly what you wanted me to.. and that a talked about the best part of the keyboard.. oh and by the way did you know the zoom75 has a screen? It’s sick!
@@CGBuild lol i know man. I got into the GB back in april, was it? anyways, i just found funny how you said you were cutting right into the meat of things and then you didn't. Loved the video.
it's the QK75 for me just based on the space on the right side. I love the screen on the Zoom but it's just too squished together.
I'm in camp that dislikes exploded, I like the tighter, more monolithic aesthetic of non-exploded arrow keys and nav. I kinda wanted to try a midrange board before going all in on a Sonnet or Tomo. Exploded on the QK looks like a giant letter "I"
Now I can’t unsee the ‘i’ 😆
I used to love non-exploded layout, but now I’m more into exploded especoally for 65%.
I ordered both even though I have the Sonnet and other endgames boards (lol). Insane value for money and the explosion of this hobby led us to this price point, it's a great time for anyone to enter the hobby now!
Zoom 75 is better in terms of raw sound while qk75 had a little more color when foamed.
Can you confirm VIA compatibility in case of Zoom75? Does it work out of the box??
What is the length or dimension of this keyboard? i`m looking with the smallest 75% percent layout please can you suggest keyboard shortest length of 75% layout keyboard?
What’s the keycap set in the zoom????
ngl, the enter key looks weird on the zoom75, doesnt look aligned
The samples of the zoom 75 that got sent out didn't have alignment pins, but the final product will, which will prevent misaligned pcbs in the case
Nice vid nice editing
I feel like morandi switches are a bad choice. they aren't the smoothest and they don't have a distinct sound they just low thock without much life.
ngl, it kind of looks like an etch-a-sketch from the side.
are you in australia?
