I love how Rick's fight with the President is literally an anime fight, just with the bonkers logic of this universe. The President is such a fun character; as egotistical as Rick but instead of backing it up with smarts, he backs it up with America, and America is a little more flimsy than that. And that makes him a hilarious but still compelling antagonist. I remember being disappointed with this finale when it came out. It felt anticlimatic. But honestly, the more Rick and Morty reactions I watch, where there's a couple days to a week between seasons instead of a year or more, I'm seeing the arcs more clearly. Beth went from begging her dad not to leave, and being willing to let her family fall apart to prevent it, to telling him he can treat her husband with respect or get fucked, and that's actually amazing. Good for her.
its important to not get sway back and forth between "is a clone, isnt a clone". The episode is very careful to not give us any information that would let us say one way or the other.
I have never, NEVER understood people's fascination with which Beth is the "clone". It's a "clone" as in "identical" with all the memories and feelings. They're equal.

To be fair a lot of us Americans (I'm Native) are conditioned into to thinking America is better than every country and when we get old enough to learn actual history about other countries that are really better then America we see how the American government didn't teach full history to us and how other countries are prospering the news and media have us believe that any country outside of the US is run down and not in the best order.
