Greywater recycling and heat recovery for 450 apartments in Berlin

Flushing toilets without drinking water: 450 beds of student housing equiped with water and heat recycling.
On behalf of the state-owned Berlinovo Immobilien Gesellschaft mbH, we have implemented greywater recycling with integrated heat recovery for a 450-bed student housing - apartment complex in Berlin-Pankow. Up to 15 cubic metres of greywater are treated here daily to produce high-quality service water for use in toilet flushing. In addition, the last heat gap in the building - the wastewater pipe - is closed. Wastewater heat is used to heat the water in the building.
