Road to Miss Tennessee USA 2020 - Taking Home the Crown

- Six months ago, my years of blood, sweat, and tears paid off and I was crowned Miss Tennessee USA 2020. When I started this vlog, I wasn't sure what the outcome would be, but I felt it was important to document the ups and downs of pageant prep to share with you. This vlog is the last month of my pageant preparation, so while it only scratches the surface of what really goes into making a titleholder, I think it's important-- important for other women who are working towards their crowns but who feel pressure to be perfect, for women who are deserving of a crown but the timing isn't right, and for anyone who has a dream to remember it is possible! Just over 2 years ago I had major surgery for endometriosis. My dreams felt far away and out of focus. Looking back at how far I have come, I am so encouraged during other difficult seasons that I walk through. Let my story be an inspiration to you too, regardless of if your goal is pageant related. When God has given you a passion, determination and having faith in the promises of God are enough to get you through it! More videos talking about all things pageant related soon! Sweet! I can relate to being grossed out by the ticks, but not much else. Lol. However, I see all this as a new beginning for you... a prophetic act of what God wants to show you in the spirit. I saw you in the completion in Clarksville. My daughter Farraday was a teen. You were absolutely beautiful . Your walk is amazing- I was floored. Teen Ansley was so gorgeous too- she’s my daughters friend in town.

Just remember: You haven't found a cure for cancer. You were just born with a certain look. If you keep that in perspective, you will do ok.
I wish I did find a cure for cancer! But until then, I am going to keep helping women get access to effective medical care. And I will never be ashamed to share my story of overcoming endometriosis-- I will spread my story as far as I can in hopes that it can help someone else :)
Justice. My daughter when she got to be 12 got endometriosis. She would pass out from the pain. I took her two different on-gyn-finally a doctor who I persuaded did a laporscopy. When The doctor came out he said it was the worst case he’d ever seen.
